Magikano is a manga series by Takeaki Momose, which was later adapted into an anime series, directed by Seiji Kishi and written by Hideki Mitsui. The anime series was also broadcast by Animax, who adapted and dubbed the series into English for broadcast across its English language networks in Southeast Asia and South Asia from February 2007, where the series received its English language premiere. ADV Films has licensed the rights for the North American release of Magikano on DVD for $65,000, and released the first volume on December 4, 2007. ADV Films' Anime Network began airing the anime on January 3, 2008 on their Subscription On Demand platform. On March 6, 2008 the anime began airing on their Free On Demand platform. In July 2008, the series became one of over 30 ADV titles to be transferred to Funimation.

Valemont is a supernatural American television miniseries on MTV that premiered on September 21, 2009. Two episodes premiered on Tuesdays during The Hills and The City. For six consecutive weeks, two and a half minute episodes of Valemont premiered in the commercial pods directly preceding The Hills and following The City. Etheria is a Filipino fantasy television series that was produced by GMA Network. The full title of the series is Etheria: Ang Ikalimang Kaharian ng Encantadia, referring to Encantadia, its predecessor series. Etheria ran for 50 episodes from December 12, 2005 to February 17, 2006, and then gave way to the telefantasya franchise's next incarnation Encantadia: Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas, which began to air the following February 20. The setting takes place before the events in Encantadia thus it may be considered as a prequel to Encantadia. It is also a sequel, a continuation of the story of the Encantadia series, because the story plot of Etheria starts with the four elemental Sang'gres and Ybarro going back in time when Etheria was in its full glory.

Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! is an American/Japanese animated television series, and was created by Ciro Nieli, one of the directors of Teen Titans, with animation being done by a Japanese studio known as The Answer Studio. The show also contains various references to pop culture, a notable example being the episode "Season of the Skull", which is a parody of the 1970s thriller The Wicker Man.

It is a three-generational drama which featured three generations of actresses for the title roles. On its first book, child stars Jillian Ward and Mona Louise Rey play the roles of Luna and Blanca respectively. On the second part, teen stars Bea Binene and Barbie Forteza will play the roles respectively. On the third book, which will covers the womanhood stage, actresses Bianca King and Heart Evangelista will play the roles of Luna and Blanca respectively.
