A Fazenda is the current Brazilian version of the The Farm reality television show based on the Swedish television series of the same name that was originally created in 2001 by Strix and produced in association with Sony Entertainment and Endemol. The show is based on a group of celebrities living together twenty-four hours a day in a Farm, isolated from the outside world while having all their steps followed by cameras around-the-clock, with no privacy for three months. The contestants compete for the chance to win the grand prize by avoiding weekly eviction, until the last celebrity remains at the end of the season that can claim the grand prize. The show is presented by news reporter Britto Junior alongside actress Chris Couto and directed by Rodrigo Carelli. Topa ou Não Topa is the Brazilian version of Deal or No Deal, broadcast in Portuguese by SBT. It is hosted by Silvio Santos. There are 26 cases, containing amounts from R$ 0.50 to R$ 1,000,000. On August 25, 2010, the gameshow returned and the host is Roberto Justus but in similar set to the old version. Like most sets of Brazilian versions of US game shows, their set and graphics are a dead ringer to the American counterpart. The R$1,000,000 grand prize was won by a man named Paulo in April, 2007.

Qual é o Seu Talento?, often shortened to QST?, was a Brazilian reality television series on the SBT, a modern version of Show de Calouros created by Silvio Santos in the 70's. Former MTV Brasil VJ André Vasco is the show's main host and the judging panel consisted of Thomas Roth, Arnaldo Saccomani, Carlos Eduardo Miranda and Cyz Zamorano. On June 23, 2010, season 2 fourth place finisher Laura Fontana, the Baby Lady Gaga, join the cast as the show's backstage interviewer. On the show, singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, variety acts, and other performers of all ages compete against each other for the advertised top prize. Among its significant features were that it gave an opportunity to talented amateurs or unknown performers, with the results decided by the judges vote.

Estação Globo premiered in December 2004 to celebrate Rede Globo's 40th anniversary. The special program featured songs from the soundtracks of soap operas, performed by Globo's famous actors. Luiz Ferré's Criadores e Criaturas' TV Colosso dog puppets also made a special appearance on this special singing "Eu Não Largo o Osso" sung by Paquitas, and written by Michael Sullivan and Paulo Massadas. The sets were built by José Cláudio and the special was directed by Jorge Fernando. Since then, it became a recurring show on Globo's schedule and is always hosted by popular singer Ivete Sangalo.

Brazil's Next Top Model, sometimes abbreviated as BrNTM, is a Brazilian reality show, based on America's Next Top Model and produced by the Brazilian branch of the Latin American cable channel Sony Entertainment Television in association with producer Moonshot Pictures. The show features a group of young female contestants who live together in a house for several weeks while taking part in various challenges, photo shoots and meetings with members of the modeling industry. Usually, one girl is eliminated each week until the final contestant remaining is declared "Brazil's Next Top Model" and wins a modelling contract along with other associated prizes.
