The programme features Kendo Kobayashi introducing business hotels across the country. In the first half, he tours the business hotel where he is staying that night and tries out the facilities; when using the hotel’s bathing facilities, he wears flesh-coloured underpants for the camera. Afterwards, he leaves the hotel and takes a leisurely stroll through the surrounding streets, ending up slightly tipsy in the entertainment district. When walking through the entertainment district, if he comes across establishments—such as adult entertainment venues—that would be inappropriate to show on television, a purple blur is applied to ensure that the shop names and general appearance remain hidden from viewers.

Shin Nihongo de Kurasou is a TV Show from Japan to teach foreigners japanese by showing Miniskits & typical every day situations and phrases, explained by an japanese sensei & practiced by 3 non japanese Students. Shin Nihongo de Kurasou been aired in one season with 25 Lessons. Nihongo de Kurasou starts off in typical Japanese fashion. This includes gross stereotypes and Daikon radish pulling. Next, we’re introduced to three non-native Japanese speakers. There are 3 students in the show : a Korean girl, a Portuguese guy, and the Chinese guy. In some Miniskits you see a non japanese speaking girl in typical situations : Paying compliments, Expressing wishes, Greetings, Offering to do, Getting angry, etc. In most episode, there is also a “Kanji Corner” showed with another Miniskit, some in Animestyle.
