Sweet Genius is an American reality-based cooking television series on the Food Network. Renowned pastry chef Ron Ben-Israel hosts this competition series in which four of America's premier pastry chefs compete in challenges, judged by Ben-Israel, that test their ability to use secret ingredients to create, based on a given inspiration, inventive desserts in a finite period of time. Ten overweight engaged couples will live together and battle for the wedding of their dreams over a three-month period. Every episode, the couples will face off in a big physical challenge, competing to win one element of their wedding - from the invitations, to the cake, to the rings. Whatever they win will be theirs to keep. Together, they will plan their weddings with the help of the nation's top wedding planners, they will take a vow to eat right and exercise, and world-class trainers and nutritionists will completely overhaul their bodies. At the end of each episode, the couples will step on the scale and be weighed together - the couple who lost the least amount of combined weight that week will be eliminated. In the end, one couple will win their fantasy wedding - a once-in-a-lifetime event - that America will attend.

Intervention Canada is a Canadian reality TV series based on the A&E show Intervention, and airs on Slice, Sundays at 8 pm. It is now in its second season. Intervention Canada profiles people whose dependence on drugs and alcohol or other compulsive behavior has brought them to a point of personal crisis or estranged them from their friends and loved ones. Each episode ends with a surprise intervention that is staged by the family and friends of the addict, conducted by addiction specialists. On February 9, 2012 Slice had announced on their Facebook that the show is cancelled.

The Real Housewives of Athens is a Greek reality series that debuted on the ANT1 network in Greece. It was the first international installment to use The Real Housewives title, though there was no direct affiliation to the American franchise, made famous by the U.S. network, Bravo. Production for the first season began in September 2010. It premiered on March 4, 2011 and was cancelled in July 2011, citing rising costs and a decline in viewership. Unlike the other Housewives franchises it didn't have reunion show.

Her family, mother, daughter Sofia, sister, friends and fans participate in the reality show, while Anna Vissi comments on her experiences, images and thoughts at various stages of her life. Sakis Rouvas participates since filming continued during the appearances of Anna Vissi and Sakis Rouvas at the Athens Arena in the musical performance "Face2Face".

Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star was a reality competition show, created by Oprah Winfrey. The show aired from January 7, 2011 to February 25, 2011 on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Hosted by Nancy O'Dell and Carson Kressley, it featured ten prospective television hosts competing to earn their own television show on the OWN network. Each week, the contestants competed in a themed-television show challenge, where they were watched and judged by O'Dell, Kressley, and a guest judge and mentor, whose expertise is in the theme that week. After the production and filming, one contestant was eliminated, until the best host remained. Zach Anner and Kristina Kuzmic-Crocco were both chosen as the winners. Besides winning their television show, the champions also received $100,000 and a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. The executive producer was Mark Burnett, who has produced many reality competitions, such as The Apprentice, Survivor, and Design Star.

Factor X Chile is a television show, adapted from the original UK show as part of The X Factor franchise. The auditions were in January 2011. The first season of the Chilean version was premiered on television in March 3, 2011. It will be hosted by Julian Elfenbein, the same host of the other recent successful talent show Talento Chileno, the Chilean versión of the Got Talent franchise. It is the second version of this format made in Latin America, but the first to meet the new requirements of the franchise in the level of production. The judges for the first series of the show are Zeta Bosio, Karen Doggenweiler and Tito Beltrán, with various guest judges. The first season aired on Thursday and Sunday, starting on March 3, 2011 in TVN.

Three series have been broadcast to date, all narrated by Jason Done. The first, broadcast in 2011, focused on seven foundation doctors at Newcastle General Hospital and Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne, three of which were newly-qualified FY1s and four being FY2s. Roseanne's Nuts is a Lifetime reality show/docudrama that aired from July 13, 2011, to September 16, 2011. It featured Roseanne Barr, her partner Johnny Argent and son Jake Pentland as they live on their macadamia nut and livestock farm in Hawaii. Celebrity guests included: Bonnie Bramlett, Michael Fishman, Phyllis Diller and Sandra Bernhard. It premiered on July 13, 2011, with two half-hour episodes. The show received mixed reviews based on its first episode. Its premiere was watched by 1.6 million viewers becoming Lifetime's fourth most-watched unscripted series launch in total viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. However, by its sixth week it was down to 711,000 viewers and was moved from Wednesdays to Friday nights for its final three weeks; repeats of Dance Moms took its Wednesday slot. On September 21, 2011, it was reported that Lifetime canceled the series.
