The Big Breakfast was a British light entertainment television show shown on Channel 4 and S4C each weekday morning from 28 September 1992 until 29 March 2002 during which period 2,482 shows were produced. The Big Breakfast was produced by Planet 24, the production company co-owned by former Boomtown Rats singer and Live Aid organiser Bob Geldof. The programme was distinctive for broadcasting live from former lockkeepers' cottages commonly referred to as "The Big Breakfast House", or more simply, "The House", located on Fish Island, in Bow in east London. The show was a mix of news, weather, interviews, audience phone-ins and general features, with a light tone which was in competition with the more serious GMTV and even more serious BBC breakfast programmes.

Die Wochenshow is a German weekly comedy sketch show that aires on Sat.1 and is produced by Brainpool TV. It started on 20 April 1996 and was cancelled early in 2002. Almost a decade later, eight new episodes have been broadcast since 20 May 2011.

It's a computer gaming show whose reviewers were three women who actually knew their stuff. Each week featured an unconventional theme running through the show backed up by news, previews and reviews.

The Sunday Programme was GMTV's political programme. It launched on 16 October 1994 as a replacement for Sunday Best, which was GMTV's original Sunday morning magazine. The programme aired between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, just after The Sunday Review (a 60-minute signed review of the week's news). It was originally presented by Alastair Stewart, who left in 2001, and Steve Richards took over. From 1995 to 2001, the programme was called Alastair Stewart's Sunday Programme, but this was changed when Alastair left in 2001. In 2008, the programme was quietly axed and replaced with children's programming.

Gillette Soccer Saturday is a weekly television programme broadcast on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland during the football season. The programme updates viewers on the progress of association football games in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Saturday afternoons. The current host is Jeff Stelling. The programme is sponsored by Gillette. The 3pm to 5pm portion of the programme is also shown on Sky Sports 1.

Lorraine Kelly first began presenting Top of the Morning in January 1993. In March when Fiona Armstrong walked out of the main GMTV show, Lorraine moved to the GMTV slot and Fern Britton and Amanda Redington took over hosting Top of the Morning. Top of the Morning was produced by an independent production company.

In 1994, Top of the Morning was replaced with the GMTV-produced Quarter to Nine. In June 1994, Kelly went on maternity leave, returning in November 1994 to do a mother and baby slot. This led to her becoming the main presenter of Nine O'Clock Live. The show proved so popular that it moved to the earlier 8:35 am slot had been retitled Lorraine Live in the Autumn 1997.

Nine O'Clock Live replaced Quarter to Nine on GMTV in September 1994.

The news service is produced and broadcast from ITV Meridian's studios in Whiteley, near Fareham with reporters also based at bureaus in Abingdon, Brighton, Maidstone, Poole and Reading. The Head of News is Robin Britton who previously launched Thames Valley Tonight and the West edition of Meridian Tonight.

Westcountry Live was the flagship regional news programme of ITV Westcountry, serving South West England.

Sunday Best was GMTV's original Sunday magazine programme, launched in January 1993. It was originally intended to be a Sunday edition of the regular weekday programme, featuring the regular lifestyle and human interest stories, interviews, and news bulletins.

East Midlands Today is the BBC's regional television news programme for its East Midlands region, which covers Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland and South Kesteven in Lincolnshire. The programme is broadcast on BBC One from studios at the BBC's East Midlands broadcasting centre in Nottingham, also home to Radio Nottingham. The main transmitter for the programme is Waltham near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire. The programme can be watched in any part of the UK from Astra 1N on Freesat channel 952 and Sky channel 960.
