Business International is a news program which airs on CNN International. It is anchored by Adrian Finighan and Becky Anderson from CNN's London studios. Business International was launched in 2000. As the title implies, it gives more in-depth coverage of international business headlines. During the course of the show, market reports come from the London Stock Exchange. However in recent years, the show has devoted more air time to covering breaking world news. It is shown simultaneously by most terrestrial television channels in mainland China, making it one of the world's most-watched programmes. It has been broadcast since on 1 January 1978. This program is used as a medium for the state to announce government announcements and meetings, commentaries on major economic and policy issues, and the activities of national leaders. The program reflects official positions of the Chinese government on a wide range of matters. Some accuse the program as serving more as a means for the state to divulge its political agenda rather than to examine the day's important news events. It has been criticized both within China and internationally for its lack of neutrality. Despite declining popularity, it remains a widely watched program.

Channel M News was a regional television news service covering the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester, produced by Channel M, partly in conjunction with the Manchester Evening News. Launched in 2004, Channel M News aired each weekday evening alongside a weekly review programme and occasional documentary specials. Breakfast, lunchtime and late evening news bulletins were also produced throughout the programme's run. Channel M News was produced and broadcast from the station's studios at Urbis and the MEN Media newsroom at Spinningfields in Manchester City Centre. The programme had previously been pre-recorded from small temporary studios in The Triangle shopping centre, The Printworks entertainment complex and Urbis before going live from a new, larger studio at Urbis in May 2006, looking out towards Cathedral Gardens and the Manchester Victoria railway station. The final evening edition of Channel M News was broadcast on Friday 10 July 2009. From Monday 13 July 2009, the station's news coverage was incorporated into Channel M Today, a three-hour topical magazine programme on weekdays.

Ođđasat is a Sami news programme broadcast in Finland, Norway and Sweden. It is broadcast five days a week, ten months a year. Each programme is around 15 minutes long and deals mostly with Sami issues but also has Nordic and world-wide news, often dealing with other indigenous peoples. The news are broadcast in Northern Sami and are subtitled in either Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish depending on in which country it is shown.

Before it was TV Patrol Caraga in the present its former title is TV Patrol Butuan aired first on July 5, 1999. It is aired live daily from ABS-CBN Broadcast Center TV-11 in Butuan City at 5:00 PM, from Monday to Friday. Also simulcast on ABS-CBN TV-12 Surigao and TV-26 Tandag. It is also shown abroad through ABS-CBN Now and The Filipino Channel. They also have this popular closing words when Charmane Awitan was still the anchor saying, "Ug CARAGA maglaumon ug magmauswagon ka!" meaning, "and CARAGA be hopeful that you will progress!". In 2011 TV Patrol Caraga celebrates its 12th year anniversary and reveals their new news banner format on TV.

Sunday was an Australian current affairs, arts and politics program, broadcast nationally on Sunday mornings on the Nine Network Australia. The program covered a range of topical issues including local and overseas news, politics, and in-depth stories on Australia and the world, plus independent film reviews, independent arts features, and independent music reviews. Its final show was aired on Sunday, 3 August 2008.

TV Patrol Palawan is a local news network broadcast of the ABS-CBN Regional Network Group in Palawan, an island province of the Philippines. The newscast delivers news headlines about current events in Palawan's capital Puerto Princesa City and its surrounding areas. It is transmitted live daily from ABS-CBN TV-7 Puerto Princesa at 5:00 PM Monday to Friday, and can also be heard simultaneously in DYAP Radyo Patrol 765kHz. TV Patrol Palawan is the first and official news program of ABS-CBN in Palawan.

CBC News: Sunday Night was a television newsmagazine series in Canada, which aired on Sunday evenings at 10 p.m. on CBC Television. It was, essentially, the Sunday night equivalent of The National, although it took a more features-oriented approach than its weekday counterpart. The program also aired on CBC Newsworld at 9 p.m., and is repeated at midnight and 5 a.m. the following morning. The program, hosted by Evan Solomon and Carole MacNeil, covered the week's news. It should not be confused with CBC News: Sunday, a Sunday morning newsmagazine hosted by the same team, but which had a different programming focus, although the programs frequently shared features. Sunday Night replaced Sunday Report, a long-running but more standard newscast, in fall 2004. The program ended in 2009, and was replaced with a Sunday edition of The National.

The Most was an American television news program on MSNBC. Broadcast live at 12:00 PM ET daily, the program focused on the top news stories of the day people are looking at on MSNBC.com. In addition, the program also aired "the most watched or sought after" material on the Internet, including the most watched viral videos of the day. The show was hosted by Alison Stewart, with contributors Tony Maciulis and the shows producer appearing in the program. MSNBC anchors Chris Jansing, JJ Ramberg, Keith Olbermann, correspondent Monica Novotny, and Rita Cosby served as substitute hosts on the program. When The Most moved to its final timeslot in December 2006, a new feature was added. An exclusive online webcast of the program aired from 11:58 AM through to the end of the first commercial. Web-exclusive content aired during the television commercial break.

The Walter Compton News was an American television news series that aired from 1947 to 1948 on the DuMont Television Network Monday through Friday from 6:45pm to 7pm ET.

Fashion File was a Canadian television series, which aired on CBC Television and CBC Newsworld, as well as internationally in syndication, from 1989 to 2009. The series covered fashion industry news. The series was hosted from its inception until 2006 by Tim Blanks, who left the show at the end of 2006 to join the Canadian fashion magazine Flare as editor-at-large. Over the winter of 2007, the CBC aired Fashion File Host Hunt, a short-run reality show in which ten finalists competed to become the new host of the show. Adrian Mainella was chosen as the new host of the series at the end of the Host Hunt. Other contestants included Peter Papapetrou, Manny Neubacher, Justin Singh, Paul Pogue, Mary Kitchen, Stephanie Pigott, Jamey Ordolis, Raji Sohal and Henrietta Southam. The judges were fashion magazine editors Bronwyn Cosgrave and Suzanne Boyd, and Fashion File executive producer Réjean Beaudin. The series was hosted by Michelle Mama. As of the end of March 2009, Fashion File was cancelled by CBC Television. The press release cites the "current financial situation."

Issues and Answers was a once-weekly TV news program that was telecast by the American Broadcasting Company network from 1960 to 1981. It was distributed to the ABC affiliate stations early on Sunday afternoons for either live broadcast or video taped for later broadcast. Issues and Answers was ABC-TV's response to such TV programs as NBC-TV's Meet the Press and CBS-TV's Face the Nation. It featured TV reporters interviewing selected newsmakers of the contemporary time period - mostly government officials, both domestic and foreign. Unlike the other networks' news-interview TV programs, which featured newspaper and radio reporters along with TV correspondents, Issues and Answers more commonly featured only ABC News correspondents. Issues and Answers was canceled in 1981, succeeded by the 60-minute This Week with David Brinkley.

Sky News with Martin Stanford was a news programme on Sky News which ran between 8:00pm and 10:00pm Monday to Friday between July 2006, and February 2007. As the name suggests, the show was usually fronted by Martin Stanford, however other presenters who stood in for Stanford included Colin Brazier and Martin Popplewell. The show started on 10 July 2006, after a change in the channel's line-up. It replaced World News Tonight and then an hour of Sky News. It was an interactive show which encouraged viewers to contribute by using webcams and 3G phones to send video messages, or by email or SMS to send in comments or join in debates about the day's main news stories. The format changed in the event of breaking news and the show had different graphics and strings to other Sky News shows. Following the cancellation of the show in February 2007, Stanford moved back to presenting Sky News Today, on weekday mornings from 9am-12pm, alongside Anna Jones. The show was replaced with News, Sport, and Weather, a show giving viewers fifteen minute news updates.

Point de mire was a popular Quebec information show on Radio-Canada that aired from 1956 to 1959. The television show is famous for being hosted by a future cabinet minister and Premier of Quebec, René Lévesque. A trademark of the show was the pedagogy of Lévesque, explaining with a chalkboard and clarifying world events to his viewers. This same technique developed at Point de mire he would later use often on television, or in person, to explain political plans and convictions, ranging from the nationalization of electricity during the Quiet Revolution to Quebec independence.

Fox Business Happy Hour was an American financial program aired on the Fox Business Network weekdays from 5-6pm Eastern Time and was hosted by Rebecca Diamond, Cody Willard and Eric Bolling.

Question Period is a Canadian television newsmagazine which airs weekly, currently excluding the summer months, on CTV at 11:00 AM ET in Ontario and east, and 4:00 PM local on stations in Western Canada. It also airs on the CTV News Channel at 5:00 PM EST. The program, which takes its name from the parliamentary process of Question Period, is an interview and panel discussion series on Canadian politics, similar to an American Sunday morning talk show. Debuting in 1967, it is CTV's third oldest series that is still in production behind W5 and CTV National News. However, the series was suspended from 1996 to 2001 in favour of the similar Sunday Edition with Mike Duffy, a BBS production which aired on most CTV stations and which was ultimately taken over by the network, but was then itself cancelled in 1999. Question Period would be revived in fall 2001, the announcement of which came shortly after rival network Global announced a similar public affairs program, Global Sunday, which also debuted in fall 2001 and ran for four seasons. Craig Oliver, CTV's chief political correspondent and previously the network's Ottawa bureau chief, was co-host of Question Period throughout its current run until 2012, and previously served as a host during the final years of the program's initial run. In July 2011, CTV announced that former Global National anchor Kevin Newman had been hired to co-host the program with Craig Oliver, with his position starting on August 22, 2011. Newman became the program's sole host in September 2012; Oliver remains with the network and now serves as a regular roundtable panelist on QP.

Good Morning Kuya is a morning news-talk program conceptualized by Kuya Daniel Razon which airs on UNTV-37 every weekday morning. The show also provides various Public Services to the public by means of a Free Clinic, a Free Orphanage, Free Education, Free Transient Home, Free Legal Services and Free Rides during weekday mornings. It is primarily hosted by Daniel Razon, Rene Jose, Nina Taduran, and Tony Arevalo. Fast Lane Daily is part of AutoStream, Inc.. Its first episode first aired on February 17, 2007. FLD is currently hosted by Derek DeAngelis and runs daily, Monday through Friday. Alex Roy, JF Musial, and Leo Parente have now moved to the DRIVE channel. Most of the clips in the episode were recorded at the Nürburgring when the crew took a trip to Germany during Halloween of the same year. Unlike most episodes, which are normally 5 minutes in length, the 1,000th episode ran for over 20 minutes and was the first one in high definition.

Aksyon JournalisMO, roughly translated as "Action: Your Journalism", is the flagship late night news program broadcast by TV5 in the Philippines. It is currently anchored by Paolo Bediones, Cheri Mercado, and Jove Francisco. Simulcast on AksyonTV and on the radio thru 92.3 News FM in Mega Manila, the program is broadcast Monday to Friday from 10:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.. The newscast is based on News5's Facebook fan page JournalisMO. In JournalisMO, citizens can express their opinions on the different issues of the country. Aksyon JournalisMO was replaced by Pilipinas News on February 20, 2012.

Daybreak Northern Ireland was the regional news strand for Northern Ireland provided for the ITV breakfast station ITV Breakfast. Unlike the ITV plc-owned regions, UTV - the ITV contractor for Northern Ireland - did not provide regional news broadcasts during Daybreak. This was due to a dispute between UTV and GMTV which dates back to 1994 when UTV opted out of the national breakfast contractor in breach of their broadcasting licence to provide live coverage of the breaking news of the Combined Loyalist ceasefire.
