Issues and Answers was a once-weekly TV news program that was telecast by the American Broadcasting Company network from 1960 to 1981. It was distributed to the ABC affiliate stations early on Sunday afternoons for either live broadcast or video taped for later broadcast. Issues and Answers was ABC-TV's response to such TV programs as NBC-TV's Meet the Press and CBS-TV's Face the Nation. It featured TV reporters interviewing selected newsmakers of the contemporary time period - mostly government officials, both domestic and foreign. Unlike the other networks' news-interview TV programs, which featured newspaper and radio reporters along with TV correspondents, Issues and Answers more commonly featured only ABC News correspondents. Issues and Answers was canceled in 1981, succeeded by the 60-minute This Week with David Brinkley.

RTÉ News: Six One is the evening news programme broadcast from Monday to Sunday at 6:00pm on Irish television channel RTÉ One. It is Monday to Friday at 6:00pm to 7:00pm and on Saturday & Sunday 6:00pm to 6:30pm, when it is styled as Six One News and Sport. Six One is the only dual-anchored news programme on RTÉ Television. Business Centre Australia was once one of CNBC Asia's business news shows to round-up the trading day in Australia. During its debut in late January 2001, it initially aired only to viewers on CNBC Asia's Australian feed but later that year it was made available across the region. The show was presented by Amanda Drury from Singapore and Mark Laudi from Sydney although Laudi eventually moved back to Singapore and co-hosted the show there.

Sunrise Weather is an early morning weekend program airing on The Weather Channel. Its emphasis is on straightforward forecasts. The program airs for a half-hour on weekend mornings from 4:30-5 a.m. ET, and has the shortest runtime of any forecast program on the network. It is also the lowest viewed show on TWC since it is shown at a very early time and on a weekend. Sunrise Weather launched on September 20, 2008, replacing the first half hour of the now defunct Weekend Outlook. It places more emphasis on hard weather forecasts than most other TWC shows. When the show launched, Ray Stagich co-anchored with Mike Seidel on Saturdays and Alex Wallace on Sundays. In September 2009, Seidel left to cover College/NFL games for TWC, and was replaced by Jeff Morrow. In July 2012, Wallace left for First Outlook, and was replaced by Danielle Banks. In October 2012, Morrow left TWC. Banks and Stagich started anchoring both Saturday and Sunday together until November 2012, when Banks left for Weekend Now and Weather Center Live, and was not replaced. The show is currently hosted by meteorologists Ray Stagich solely on Saturdays and Sundays. If there is a major weather event, Sunrise Weather will be pre-empted by an extended edition of Weekend View.

East Midlands Today is the BBC's regional television news programme for its East Midlands region, which covers Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland and South Kesteven in Lincolnshire. Global with Jon Sopel is a news programme on BBC World News that first premiered on 14 January 2013 with the relaunch of the channel from Broadcasting House. The programme is hosted by Jon Sopel who joined the channel from the domestic BBC News Channel. Sopel regularly presents the programme on location around the world and in this case it is broadcast in part on BBC News Channel. the Global replaced The Hub which originally was edition of World News Today and served as a news 'nerve centre' for South Asia and the Middle East, providing both the headlines, and detailed analysis of the global news agenda.

Te Karere is a New Zealand news and current affairs programme broadcast in the Māori language. Te Karere is broadcast on Television New Zealand's TV ONE at 4 pm on weekdays and repeated 1:05 am and 5:35 am the following day. Power Lunch is a television business news program on CNBC, airing between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Eastern Time. It is presented by Tyler Mathisen, Sue Herera, and Michelle Caruso-Cabrera. Simon Hobbs will fill in on occasion. Bill Griffeth anchored the program alone from 1996 to 2002. Caruso-Cabrera joined the program as Griffeth's original co-presented from February 4, 2002, to December 5, 2003, before being replaced by Herera starting on December 8, 2003. Caruso-Cabrera and Dennis Kneale appeared on the show regularly in their respective analyst capacities until both became full co-presenters in 2009. Mathisen joined the program in late 2009, after Griffeth's leave of absence began. Power Lunch used to air for two hours until June 7, 2010, when it moved to 1 ET and had its running time cut in half, from 2 hours to 1 hour, to make room for The Strategy Session at noon ET and the Fast Money Halftime Report at 12:30 ET.

Power Play is a Canadian public affairs television show which airs weekdays on CTV News Channel. Interviews are conducted with important Canadian political figures as well as political journalists and strategists, and includes a regular segment with CTV's Craig Oliver. The show broadcasts from Parliament Hill and was hosted on a week-by-week basis by various CTVglobemedia journalists, including Jane Taber and Roger Smith, as temporary replacements for the original host Tom Clark upon his departure in September 2010. On November 30, 2010, CTV announced that Don Martin, a newspaper columnist, would become the new host of Power Play starting in mid-December 2010. Power Play is the permanent successor to Mike Duffy Live, which aired until December 2008 when Mike Duffy, the host, was appointed to the Senate of Canada. Following the departure of Duffy, a program called On the Hill, hosted by Graham Richardson, ran for one month until Power Play premiered.

Aksyon Balita is the final Filipino-language newscast and the late afternoon news broadcast of Radio Philippines Network in the Philippines. Launched in 2006, it is broadcast at 5:30 PM Philippine time. It was created as a spin-off of the network's longest-running news program, NewsWatch. With the latter program's final episode on January 4, 2008, the Filipino edition dropped the "NewsWatch" tag and is retitled to, simply, Aksyon Balita, apparently to complement the network's new English newscast, i-Watch News.

Alive in Baghdad is a weekly news video blog, or vlog, based in Baghdad, Iraq, distributed via website and RSS. They employ Iraqi journalists to produce videos covering various topics on daily life in Iraq following the Second Gulf War, including a piece on citizens trying to protect their neighborhood from insurgent death squads, another on what it is like to be an Iraqi Police officer, and interviews with car bomb survivors. The footage is shot by Iraqis and edited in the United States. Alive in Baghdad was founded in 2005 by Brian Conley, a 26-year-old American journalist and filmmaker. After a year of preparation, Conley went to Baghdad to equip and train a small team of Iraqis to produce a new short film every week on the subject of daily life in Iraq. The website has survived on donations from foundations and individuals. Staff in Iraq receive a small salary. US staff are not paid.

Sky News with Martin Stanford was a news programme on Sky News which ran between 8:00pm and 10:00pm Monday to Friday between July 2006, and February 2007. As the name suggests, the show was usually fronted by Martin Stanford, however other presenters who stood in for Stanford included Colin Brazier and Martin Popplewell. The show started on 10 July 2006, after a change in the channel's line-up. It replaced World News Tonight and then an hour of Sky News. It was an interactive show which encouraged viewers to contribute by using webcams and 3G phones to send video messages, or by email or SMS to send in comments or join in debates about the day's main news stories. The format changed in the event of breaking news and the show had different graphics and strings to other Sky News shows. Following the cancellation of the show in February 2007, Stanford moved back to presenting Sky News Today, on weekday mornings from 9am-12pm, alongside Anna Jones. The show was replaced with News, Sport, and Weather, a show giving viewers fifteen minute news updates.

SNN: Showbiz News Ngayon is a Philippine primetime entertainment news program broadcast by ABS-CBN and was presented by Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino, though Aquino was later replaced by Bianca Gonzales because of her brother's campaign for presidency. The show premiered on February 16, 2009. On September 9, 2011, SNN aired its final broadcast. SNN was replaced by "Nasaan Ka Elisa?".

ITN World News was a newscast shown during the late 1980s and most of the 1990s. It was either shown on cable or satellite television, or shown internationally. The newscast was broadcast from London, England, and was produced by Independent Television News. A domestic version was also shown in the United Kingdom on terrestrial television. ITN World News began broadcasting on Super Channel, and aired on NBC Europe, Nine Network Australia, Public Broadcasting Service Public television stations and most of the ITV Network Regions. The broadcast began in 1987, and has not been seen on screens since 1999. The newscast was produced by ITN and broadcast from its London Bureau.

The Cost of Freedom is an American business program block on the Fox News Channel, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET Saturdays and 4:00 to 6:00 a.m. ET Mondays and several times throughout the weekend on sister network Fox Business Network, while a short seguments called Money Break air on FBN during weekend programming. The block consists of: ⁕Bulls & Bears, hosted by Brenda Buttner; ⁕Cavuto on Business, hosted by Neil Cavuto; ⁕Forbes on Fox, hosted by David Asman; and ⁕Cashin' In, hosted by Eric Bolling. The program delivers news headlines about the current events in the Southern Tagalog region, which today is divided into CALABARZON and MIMAROPA. In addition, it is the only newscast in the Philippines with a using video traffic system. It is similar to TV Patrol Central Visayas. Aired originally as Batangas News Patrol in September 2008, TV Patrol Southern Tagalog broadcast using its current program title on February 9, 2009 and had a formal launch August 31, 2009. It airs live daily from ABS-CBN Batangas at 5:00 pm, from Monday to Friday, simulcast over ABS-CBN TV-10 Batangas City, TV-24 Lucena City, TV-38 Lipa City, TV-11 Occidental Mindoro, TV-21 Calapan, TV-40 Jalajala, TV-46 San Pablo, and TV-32 Tagaytay. It is also simulcast on radio via MOR 92.7 Batangas For Life!.

Weather Center was a news/weather program produced by The Weather Channel in Atlanta, Georgia. Initially, Weather Center was the lone news program for The Weather Channel. By 2000, the show had started being significantly pared down. By the end of 2008, Weather Center only aired for one hour a day during the week and two hours on weekends. The 4pm hour of Weather Center was replaced by PM Edition.

More4 News was a daily news programme on the More4 digital television channel in the United Kingdom, airing Monday to Friday from 8.00pm to 8.30pm from 2005 to 2009.

Howard K. Smith: News and Comment was a half-hour ABC news and documentary program hosted by commentator Howard K. Smith, which aired from February 14, 1962, to June 16, 1963. It was broadcast at the 10:30 Eastern time slot on Sundays opposite CBS's long-running quiz show, What's My Line?, hosted by John Charles Daly, himself the first ever ABC News anchorman. In 1961, Smith left CBS News because of a dispute about a documentary that he produced on police violence against civil rights demonstrators in Birmingham, Alabama. He then joined ABC, where his contract stipulated that neither the network nor sponsors could interfere with the content of his program. While at CBS, Smith hosted the documentary program Behind the News with Howard K. Smith for twenty-one weeks from January 11 to September 20, 1959. Selected episodes focused on communism in Cuba, the status of Berlin, the Cold War, Charles de Gaulle, Nikita Khrushchev, unemployment in depressed areas, and the St. Lawrence Seaway. Smith's News and Comment began early in 1962. On November 11, five days after mid-term elections were held on November 6, Smith broadcast a program entitled "The Political Obituary of Richard M. Nixon", which proved highly controversial as well as premature. He included an interview with Nixon nemesis Alger Hiss, the Cold War convicted perjurer from Massachusetts, as well as remarks from Nixon loyalist Murray Chotiner. Some said that Smith's program in the long-run benefited Nixon's six-year political comeback because there was a backlash of sympathy caused by Hiss's appearance.

Channel 4 News at Noon was first introduced in 2003 for the duration of the Iraq War, and due to its instant success, it was kept on in Channel 4's daytime schedule (except when live Horse Racing was being broadcast). It was presented by Krishnan Guru-Murthy. Prior to this bulletin, the programme in the slot was Powerhouse, a political news programme, also produced for Channel 4 by ITN. As a consequence of the advertising slowdown during the 2009 recession, the programme was cancelled, along with More4 News and replaced with the five minute Channel 4 News Summary, the last broadcast airing on 18 December 2009.
