Canada AM is a Canadian breakfast television news show, that has aired on CTV since September 11, 1972. It is currently hosted by Beverly Thomson and Marci Ien, with Jeff Hutcheson presenting the weather forecast and sports. The program currently airs only on weekdays, and is produced from CTV's facilities at 9 Channel Nine Court in Toronto. In addition to CTV's local owned-and-operated stations in Eastern Canada as well as affiliate station CITL-DT Lloydminster, the program also airs on independent station CJON-DT in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as CTV News Channel, the network's 24-hour national news service. The program previously aired on CTV's O&Os in Western Canada, until they launched their own all-local morning news programmes called CTV Morning Live in fall 2011.

The bulletin was introduced as a thirty-minute Friday night news programme on 18 January 2008, with the same studio and look as News at Ten, and was presented by Mark Austin and Julie Etchingham. However, in February 2008, the bulletin took on the same generic look used for the ITV News bulletins, and in March began being presented by one newscaster. On 25 February 2009, ITV announced that News at Ten would begin to air five nights a week, in order to give News at Ten a "consistent home at the heart of the schedule", as well as being due to a rise in ratings and the success of the pairing of the programme's newscasters. The final Friday night edition of The Late News was broadcast on 6 March 2009.

Asia Today is an Asian news programme produced by the BBC and is shown on BBC World News during the Asian morning hours. This programme used to be available exclusively in Asia Pacific, South Asia and Middle East but as of a 1 February 2010 revamp is now aired worldwide. It used to be broadcast from the BBC's london studios but is now broadcast from the BBC's Singapore bureau which is in the CBD of Singapore. The main presenters are Rico Hizon and Sharanjit Leyl. Fast Money is an American financial stock trading talk show that began airing on the CNBC cable/satellite TV channel on 2006-06-21. Beginning October 10, 2007, it was broadcast every weeknight at 5pm ET, one hour after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange, until mid-2011 when it was moved to just four nights per week, Monday through Thursday, to make room for special option and currency trading shows on Friday evenings. On March 22, 2013, it returned to the Friday night slot as a half-hour show, followed by the Options Action half-hour show. The show originates from the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City.

Holmes was a 30 minute news and current affairs show presented by Paul Holmes on Television One in New Zealand between 1989 and 2004. The show moved to Prime in 2005 after failed contract negotiations between Paul Holmes and TVNZ. The shows run on Prime however was short lived due to low ratings.

AM America is a morning news program produced by ABC in an attempt to compete with the highly rated Today on NBC. The show never found an audience after its premiere on January 6, 1975. Lasting just under ten months, its final installment aired on October 31. The program's concept was based on Ralph Story's AM, the local morning show on the network's owned-and-operated Los Angeles station KABC-TV. Like Today, AM America employed two hosts and a news anchor. ABC chose Bill Beutel, who was co-anchor of Eyewitness News on the network's New York City flagship station WABC-TV, and Stephanie Edwards from Ralph Story's AM to host the program. Peter Jennings, who at the time was ABC's Washington correspondent, provided the news reports. One notable episode of AM America aired on April 25, 1975, when members of the British comedy troupe Monty Python made one of their earliest appearances on American television. Edwards quit the show by the end of May, and Beutel followed her out a few months later. On November 3, the Monday following its final broadcast, AM America was replaced by Good Morning America.

Fourth Reading was a weekly current events newsmagazine series in Canada, airing on TVOntario from 1992 to 2006. It was hosted by Steve Paikin. The show covered provincial politics in Ontario and national political issues affecting the province. Its name derived from the parliamentary convention that a bill receives three readings in a legislative house before becoming law; media coverage would therefore constitute a "fourth reading". In 1997, Minister of Education John Snobelen was being interviewed on a Thursday afternoon, for the show that would air the Friday night. During this interview, then-Premier Mike Harris announced a cabinet shuffle in which Snobelen became the Minister of Natural Resources.

Nuacht TG4 is a daily half-hour Irish language TV news bulletin produced by RTÉ News and Current Affairs for the Irish language Television station TG4. The programme is broadcast weekday evenings at 19:00, live from the studios of TG4 in Baile na hAbhann, County Galway. A shortened edition of the programme is broadcast on weekend evenings at around 18:45.

The show is typically 60% material generated or suggested by fans, including videos from the internet, athlete Tweets, and online polling. The show had aired in occasional segments on ESPN and ESPN2 before becoming a fixture of ESPN2's weekday afternoon block in September 2011. As of June 2013, the SportsNation hosts are Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley and is produced at ESPN's Los Angeles studios. From July 6, 2009 until December 20, 2012, SportsNation was taped at ESPN's world headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut. The initial hosts were Colin Cowherd, who hosts the ESPN Radio midday program The Herd with Colin Cowherd, and Michelle Beadle, who joined ESPN from the YES Network. On June 1, 2012, Beadle left to join the NBC family of networks as a sports and entertainment contributor and was replaced by Numbers Never Lie host Charissa Thompson. Cowherd announced his departure from SportsNation in September 2012 to focus more on his radio work, and his final episode aired on December 21, 2012. Wiley, who is a contributor to various programs on ESPN and who is based in Los Angeles, was announced as his replacement.

Big News is the first ever newscast on Philippine television. It was the primetime news broadcast of Associated Broadcasting Company in the Philippines. It was anchored by Cheri Mercado and Amelyn Veloso. The show was originally first aired in 1962, and went off the air in 1972 due to martial law, and re-aired again in 1992 as a revival and also as an English language newscast. In 2004, when the network reformatted most of its programs, the show became a Filipino language newscast in order to compete with the other networks newscasts. On May 10, 2004, the newscast exchanged timeslots with Sentro, the early-evening news program of the network. Mercado became the sole anchor of the program, and the length of the program was reduced to 15 minutes from the former 30. On August 8, 2008, the program, together with Sentro aired its final broadcast.

BBC London News is the BBC's regional television news programme for the English region encompassing London and the surrounding areas. Its local competitor is ITV News London, which is produced by ITN for ITV London. BBC London News is broadcast seven days a week on BBC One in London and the surrounding areas, with short bulletins during BBC Breakfast, after the BBC News at One, and after the BBC News at Ten. Newsbeat was the flagship news broadcast of Net 25 in the Philippines. It was currently anchored by Arlyn Dela Cruz-Collantes and Onin Miranda, and has the slogan "Ang bagong pulso ng mga balita". A 60-minute newscast, was aired at 6:00 PM Philippine time. Veteran broadcaster Ka Totoy Talastas joins the duo in providing commentary on the day's current affairs. The show was last aired on December 24, 2007, to make way for the premiere of i-Balita.

Bullseye was a news and analysis program that aired on CNBC at 6 pm ET weekdays from December 8, 2003 to March 11, 2005. Hosted by Dylan Ratigan, it covered breaking news stories from business to pop culture and offered guidance on personal finance with the help of CNBC reporter Steve Liesman and his economy charts drawn on "Easels". The program had music selected by a CNBC intern called Grecco. One segment on the show was called Whine & Cheese, where Ratigan served wine and cheese to his guests and talked about the news in business and corporate governance. On the last episode of the show, on the segment called Bullseye Perspective, Ratigan served as moderator of an economics debate between Lawrence Kudlow and Paul Krugman of the New York Times. The show was replaced by Jim Cramer's Mad Money on March 14, 2005.

The different shows have a number of different business analysts, some of which are exclusive to specific shows while others rotate between the shows. The Cost of Freedom business block began broadcasting in 720p HD on October 3, 2009.

The Alyona Show was a current affairs television program hosted by Alyona Minkovski that aired on RT from 2009 to 2012. The show featured in-depth analysis of news stories and also frequently criticizes the mainstream media, national politics in the United States, and the U.S. financial industry. The show's final edition aired on July 30, 2012, after which Minkovski left RT to join HuffPost Live. Past episodes are still available on the RT website.

Closing Bell can refer to two CNBC programs, the original Closing Bell on CNBC, and European Closing Bell on CNBC Europe. The show is named after the bell that is rung to signify the end of a trading session on the New York Stock Exchange which occurs at 4:00 pm EST. Many exchanges used to signify end of trading with a gong or bell when they were operated on a open outcry basis. The New York Stock Exchange still uses this system and often invites special guests to ring the bell. The CNBC shows use this name as they cover the period up to the end of trading and review the trading of the day after the market has closed.

May Tamang Balita is a Filipino satirical newscast television program that airs on GMA News TV. The original hosts of the show were Janna Dominguez, Maey Bautista, Ramon Bautista and Sheena Halili, but Dominguez left the show for unknown reasons around October 2011, and was later substituted by comedienne Boobay Balbuena. Later on, Halili also left the show, probably due to schedule conflicts, and was replaced by Jinri Park, one of the air-staff of Monster Radio RX 93.1. Currently, the show's presentors are Park. Balbuena, and the two Bautistas. The field of reporters of the show refer themselves as "May Tama".
