Engineering Announcements for the Radio and Television Trade, sometimes abbreviated to Engineering Announcements, was a weekly magazine of news and information intended for technicians and salespeople in the United Kingdom, produced and transmitted by the Independent Television Authority from 23 November 1970 until 31 July 1990. It covered technical advances in the industry such as the launch of satellite television and NICAM stereo, along with details of new transmitters and the scheduling of transmitter downtime. Engineering Announcements, and the BBC's similar Service Information, are examples of regularly scheduled "ghost programmes," so called because they were never advertised in on-air schedules, in newspaper TV listings, the TV Times or on teletext.

Its local competitor is ITV News London, which is produced by ITN for ITV London. BBC London News is broadcast seven days a week on BBC One in London and the surrounding areas, with short bulletins during BBC Breakfast, after the BBC News at One, and after the BBC News at Ten. The flagship programme airs between 18:30 and 18:55 each weekday evening and is usually presented by Riz Lateef. STV News at Six is a Scottish regional news programme, covering the two STV franchise areas of Northern and Central Scotland, produced by STV Central in the Central region and STV North in the Northern region. The programmes were launched on 23 March 2009, replacing Scotland Today in Central Scotland and North Tonight in Northern Scotland. As of 23 May 2011, three separate editions of STV News at Six are produced each weekday for the East and West of the Central region and for the entire North region. The three programmes are produced from studios in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen with reporters also based at studios in Dundee and Inverness and political correspondents based at Holyrood and Westminster. Freelance correspondents and camera crews are based on the Orkney and Shetland Isles, Wick and Fort William with a permanent Western Isles correspondent based in Stornoway. In addition to its daily bulletins, STV News also produces some non-news programming including current affairs, Champions League Live and one-off feature specials and documentaries.

Rapport is one of the two main news programmes from the Swedish television broadcaster Sveriges Television. Rapport's main bulletin is broadcast every day at 19:30 on SVT1. It runs for thirty minutes every day except Saturday, when it runs for fifteen minutes. Ever since the 1970s, it has been the most watched news bulletin in Sweden. The title is also used for most other news bulletins on SVT. On weekdays in 2006, Rapport is broadcast every half hour between 06:00 and 09:30, at noon, at 16:00 and in the late evening on SVT1 and on-the-hour round-the-clock in SVT24. Wake Up Call is a show on CNBC that aired in the early morning, premiered from 6 to 8AM ET on February 4, 2002. Later it was moved to 5 to 7AM timeslot. Previous program shown in the same time slot was Today's Business. Originally co-anchored by Liz Claman and Carl Quintanilla, Wake Up Call was hosted by Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, sometimes in conjunction with a guest host. The programme used a slightly different graphics package to other CNBC programmes; in particular, a different format for the ticker. The program ended its run on December 16, 2005 and was replaced by Worldwide Exchange on December 19. Today's Business was the equivalent program on CNBC Europe and used the same theme music as Wake Up Call. That program, which was hosted by Steve Sedgwick, ended its run on March 23, 2007 and replaced by Capital Connection on March 26, 2007. There was also a program on CNBC Asia called Asia Wake Up Call. It merged with Asia Squawk Box in 2003.

America's Heartland is a television program in the United States airing on the Public Broadcasting Service since 2005. In eight full seasons, America's Heartland reporters and crews have brought in stories from all across the United States. 172 half-hour episodes have taken viewers to 50 states, as well as faraway places like Taiwan, China, Egypt and Morocco. On the program American farmers and ranchers share their passion for hard work as well as their commitment to food safety, sustainability, environmental stewardship and animal welfare. The program features profiles of farming and ranching families and explores trends in food production from farm to table. America's Heartland also features a "Farm to Fork" segment hosted by well-known CNet personality and blogger Sharon Vaknin. Sharon joins farmers in their own kitchens, preparing recipes with ingredients grown on that farm. Other recurring segments include "Harvesting Knowledge", highlighting the history of familiar food production, "Off the Shelf" featuring information about items found right in the grocery store, and "Agriculture 101", where ag experts answer questions posed by consumers. TG2 is the brand for the news programmes of Rai 2, the Italian state-owned television channel. Asia Market Week - a weekly wrap-up of the market action in Asia - aired between 17:30-18:00 on Fridays. Prior to Martin Soong's original departure from CNBC Asia, he was the programme's regular presenter (the programme was billed as Asia Market Wrap with Martin Soong). When he returned to present Asia Squawk Box, Tan was moved to present Asia Market Wrap instead. The programme was not aired on CNBC Asia's CNBC Australia, local opt-out - it was replaced by CNBC Europe's Morning Exchange (1600 - 1700 HK/SG Time) and CNBC's Wake Up Call (1700 - 1800 HK/SG/TWN Time). The programme ended on 2 December 2005 and was replaced by Worldwide Exchange on 19 December 2005. Tan continues as the Asian presenter of this programme, joined by CNBC's Michelle Caruso-Cabrera (used for 2005-07-10-19 to due General assignment), now anchored by Brian Shactman (2007-10-22-present) and CNBC Europe's Ross Westgate.

60 Minutes is the name of a television newsmagazine show previously broadcast in New Zealand on TV3. The show began in New Zealand in 1989 based on an American programme by the same name. The programme is to broadcast on Prime TV from 2013 and will be hosted by Charlotte Bellis, weekend anchor of Prime News: First at 5.30, will host 60 Minutes for the network alongside her news duties. The broadcaster of 60 Minutes has changed twice during the 1990s. It was one of TV3's flagship programmes when TV3 went to air in 1989. Then in 1992, TVNZ won the rights to the programme. After being shown on TV1 from 1993 to 2002, TVNZ decided not to renew the rights the show from CBS, and the rights were reacquired by TV3. Following this, there was a fight over the www.60minutes.co.nz domain, which for a short time, redirected to the site on TVNZ's replacement Sunday. Currently, the domain redirects to the www.cbs.com website.

The War Room with Michael Shure was a news and political commentary program on Current TV It was initially hosted by former Governor of Michigan Jennifer Granholm. The show debuted on January 30, 2012 and aired on weeknights followed by The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur and Viewpoint with Eliot Spitzer. "The War Room" is an allusion to the place where strategists plan a political campaign. Granholm had said that the program's stance would be progressive. Upon the departure of Granholm, The Young Turks contributor Michael Shure took up her role as the host. The show aired its final episode on August 15, 2013.

It was moved to the 8pm time slot on July 9, 2001. During the United States presidential election, 2000, The News was the main program for MSNBC's coverage. Until May 2011, Sports Centre aired two different programmes: Friday Night Football, broadcast on Friday nights at 10:30pm, and Magners League Rugby - airing on Sundays straight after the late ITV News bulletin. Short Sports Centre news bulletins also aired on Monday - Thursday nights at 10:35pm during the late regional bulletins from STV News. Big News is the first ever newscast on Philippine television. It was the primetime news broadcast of Associated Broadcasting Company in the Philippines. It was anchored by Cheri Mercado and Amelyn Veloso. The show was originally first aired in 1962, and went off the air in 1972 due to martial law, and re-aired again in 1992 as a revival and also as an English language newscast. In 2004, when the network reformatted most of its programs, the show became a Filipino language newscast in order to compete with the other networks newscasts. On May 10, 2004, the newscast exchanged timeslots with Sentro, the early-evening news program of the network. Mercado became the sole anchor of the program, and the length of the program was reduced to 15 minutes from the former 30. On August 8, 2008, the program, together with Sentro aired its final broadcast.
