NBC News at Sunrise is an American early morning television news program that aired on NBC from 1983 to 1999. The program featured the top news headlines of the morning, sports and weather reports, and business segments. Many of the program's anchors also appeared on NBC's morning news program Today.

Day One is a television news magazine produced by ABC News from 1993 to 1995, hosted by Forrest Sawyer and Diane Sawyer. One of its stories, titled "Smoke Screen", was an important report on the cigarette industry's manipulation of nicotine during the manufacturing process. Studio 2 was a daily current affairs newsmagazine on TVOntario in Ontario, Canada. The show won several Gemini Awards, and was hosted by Steve Paikin and Paula Todd, and first aired in 1994. TVOntario announced the program's termination on June 29, 2006. The final episode aired on June 30, and was replaced that fall with a new series hosted by Paikin, The Agenda. Rather than a newscast style, Studio 2 tackled certain current news stories affecting many Canadians with a focus often on Ontario. Regular topics on the show included healthcare, federal politics, provincial politics, terrorism, foreign affairs, the environment, the arts and many others. The show usually performed a deep analysis, often with open discussions among experts or even interviewing specific figures involved in the issues. Also included were arts and current affairs documentary segments, live performance, and in-depth personal interviews.

PC World's Digital Duo was a computer themed US television series that aired on PBS stations in 1999 as Digital Duo for 26 episodes and returned to broadcast as PC World's Digital Duo with an additional 26 episodes in 2005. It ran for a half hour per episode and was produced by Incandescent Entertainment. It featured co-hosts Stephen Manes of Forbes & PC World with Angela Gunn of USAToday.com in a "Siskel & Ebert" style format in which they would rate computer and on-line products and services. Each episode would also feature a commentary segment by Walt Mossberg.

An Là is a Scottish Gaelic-language news programme broadcast on the Gaelic-language channel, BBC Alba. The programme, based at BBC Alba's newsroom in Inverness, began at 8pm on Monday 22 September 2008 and provides a 30-minute bulletin of Scottish, British and international news for Gaelic speakers on weeknights. The Sunday night review programme, composed of highlights from the week's bulletins as well as material from Eòrpa, called Seachd Là, began at 6.30pm on Sunday 28 September 2008. An Là is presented from Studio G at the BBC in Inverness, but output through Studio C Gallery in BBC Pacific Quay. Seachd Là, weather and the An Là sports news all come from BBC Pacific Quay in Glasgow. An Là is the first daily television news programme to be broadcast in Scots Gaelic since the axing of Grampian Television's Telefios bulletins in 2000. An Là was shortlisted in the Best Current Affairs category at the 2009 Celtic Media Festival.

CBC News: Sunday was a weekly television newsmagazine series in Canada, which aired on Sunday mornings on both CBC Newsworld and CBC Television. The program first went on the air in February 2002, offering exclusive and headline news, behind-the-scenes reports, in-depth interviews with world leaders and newsmakers such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ralph Nader, Kofi Annan and the Dalai Lama. The program, hosted by Evan Solomon and Carole MacNeil, focused on ethics, spirituality and media accountability. It covered current news stories, but also examines how these stories are covered by the media. After eight seasons on air, on May 31, 2009, CBC News: Sunday aired its final episode in front of a live audience in the CBC Atrium. The show has won more than 40 national and international awards and nominations: "Deadline Iraq: Uncensored Stories of the War," a gripping documentary about what the public doesn't see from the front in Iraq, won the Red Cross Prize at the Monte Carlo TV Festival; “Beyond Words: Photographers of War” won Best Short Feature, National at the 2005 Gabriel Awards, as well as a Bronze Medal at the 2005 Columbus International Film & Video Festival, and a 2005 Gemini Award Nomination for Best Magazine Segment, while Evan Solomon won the 2005 Gemini for Best Host Interviewer.

TA NEA TOY ANT1 is a famous news television programme in Greece aired by ANT1 since 1992 and is currently hosted by Giannis Papadopoulos as well as the rest of the ANT1 News Team. It has previously been hosted by Terrence Quick, Dimitris Stamou, Elli Stai and more recently Nikos Evagelatos. TA NEA TOY ANT1 broadcasts its main evening news show at 20:00 and this runs for one hour. During 2000 through to 2001, the show started at 19:30 and ran for one and a half hour. Before 1997, it was broadcast for 30 minutes. The main evening news on ANT1 has been number one in the Greek television ratings several times. The program is in direct competition for viewers with other private television stations such as Mega Channel and Alter who also broadcast their main evening news shows at 20:00. Alpha TV moved their main evening news from 20:00 to 19:00 in 2009 so no longer compete to be number one in this time slot. TA NEA TOY ANT1 also broadcasts an afternoon edition of the program which airs at 13:00 and runs for approximately 25 minutes. There is a second shorter edition at 18:00 which lasts for approximately 10 minutes and also features the news in sign language. The midnight edition of the news lasts for approximately 10 minutes.

The program, known for its reviews and comedy skits, aired on G4 in the United States and has aired on G4 Canada in Canada (and briefly on YTV during its time as GameSpot TV), FUEL TV in Australia, Ego in Israel, GXT in Italy, MTV Russia & Rambler TV in Russia, NET 25 (GameSpot TV to Extended Play only) & Solar Sports in the Philippines, and Adult Swim and MuchMusic in Latin America.

The Goal Rush was a live ITV television programme that aired from 2001 to 2003 produced by Granada Television. The programme was broadcast on Saturdays as a rival show to Final Score on BBC One, and provided live football scores from the Premier League and the Football League. ITV ran the programme during the two of the three seasons that it held the rights to show Premier League highlights. After the rights were lost, The Goal Rush was axed. Coverage began on ITV2 and then continued on ITV from 4pm. The programme was presented by Angus Scott.
