The Five is an American talk show on Fox News Channel featuring a rotating panel of contributors who discuss current political issues and pop culture. The show premiered in July 2011, replacing the Glenn Beck program, and airs on weekdays at 5:00 p.m. ET with replays at 2:00 a.m. ET. On October 3, 2011, after successful ratings and high popularity, Fox News announced that The Five would become the permanent 5p.m. series, as the program was previously announced to last only during the summer. The Five is currently the second-most-watched program in all of cable news in the United States, placing only behind The O'Reilly Factor.

Crime 360 is an American reality television show based on homicide detective units in various cities across the United States, including Richmond, Virginia; Rochester, New York; Little Rock, Arkansas; Indianapolis, Indiana; Cleveland, Ohio. The detective units in each of these cities use a Leica or a Deltasphere three-dimensional scanner to photograph the crime scene, essentially "freezing" it for study during the investigation; hence, the series title "Crime 360." It is produced by BASE Productions.

Mezamashi TV (めざましテレビ) is a Japanese news magazine show broadcasts every weekday on Fuji TV and affiliates from 05:25 to 08:00 A.M. Mezamashi is a form of the Japanese verb 'mezamasu' (めざます - to wake up). The title is quite close to the English morning show or breakfast TV. Mezamashi TV has several spin-off shows such as Mezamashi TV Zenbu Mise (めざましテレビ全部見せ), which is aired in Kanto and some other regions, starting at 04:55 A.M, Mezamashi Saturday (めざましどようび), the Saturday supplement of Mezamashi TV which airs at a later time from 06:00 to 08:30 A.M, and Mezamashi 8 (めざまし8) which is a replacement to Tokudane! from March 29, 2021.

Science International, later retitled What Will They Think Of Next!, is a Canadian television series produced by Global Television Network from 1976 to 1979. Each episode featured approximately 20 short segments on scientific developments and trivia, narrated by Joseph Campanella and Tiiu Leek for its initial seasons. Kerrie Keane replaced Leek later in the series run. The hosts also appeared on camera, usually with chromakey effects behind them such as animation. The format of the series alternated between filmed footage of new inventions and developments and limited-animation segments usually focusing on more off-beat developments. In the US, this series aired in the early-1980s on Nickelodeon, with almost all episodes airing under the What Will They Think Of Next? title, however, Nickelodeon did air some episodes under the "Science International" title.

Breakfast Television, also known as BT, is a Canadian morning news and entertainment program produced by CITY-DT. The program airs from 5:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. ET each weekday, except holidays. Since October 3, 2011, it is also simulcast on cable-exclusive CityNews Channel, with a half-hour extension aired exclusively on the channel that runs from 9-9:30 a.m. Four other Citytv owned-and-operated stations use the name and the format, creating content relevant to their own local audiences. A stations produced their own similar morning shows under the name A Morning, although due to budget cuts, many of them have been canceled as of 2009. BT tends to be more relaxed and spontaneous than American morning shows. Unlike American morning shows, it does not have pre-taped segments that are focused on current events or socio-political issues. The guests tend to be more human interest, informational, and promotional in nature and there is less of a focus on celebrities.

The WGN Morning News is an American morning television news program airing on CW affiliate and national superstation WGN-TV in Chicago, Illinois. The football Michigan Replay Show went on the air in 1975 with twelve to sixteen programs per year. Larry Adderley was the host from 1975 to 1979. Jim Brandstatter took over starting in 1980. In 2008 the title was changed to Inside Michigan Football. The basketball coach's show was first broadcast in 1990 under the title Michigan Basketball Preview and became Michigan Replay in 1999/2000. The format of the half-hour show was a host and the head coach in a studio setting reviewing the previous weeks games and previewing the upcoming games. Typically there would be one or more guests and often a short topical story.

Real Stories is an Australian satirical television comedy series produced by Carlton Television for Network Ten. It was created by Hamish Blake and Andy Lee. The series was first broadcast on 22 August 2006. Eight episodes were produced. The program was a parody of current affairs shows. It was hosted by Jennifer Adams, a former Seven Network reporter. The show mimicked a standard current affairs format. Pre-recorded segments in the show were introduced by the host. These segments starred Hamish Blake, Andy Lee, Ryan Shelton, and Tim Bartley with voice-overs provided by Greg Fleet. The show originally started as a project for Melbourne's Channel 31, a community access television station, as a collaboration between Roving Enterprises and Hamish & Andy's production company, Radio Karate. There are no plans to continue production of the show. It was repeated during 2007, and is currently available on DVD. Several podcasts were produced, including material not broadcast in the series.

D. L. Hughley Breaks the News was a comedy news show that aired on CNN from October 25, 2008 to March 2009, hosted and head written by comedian D. L. Hughley. On March 9, 2009, CNN announced that Hughley would be ending the show due to a desire to work in Los Angeles and be closer to his family. He plans to continue his work with CNN as a Los Angeles-based contributor for the network. On the show's finale, Hughley did a report about legalizing marijuana. He said that he had a back problem and took the show into his doctor's office to get his prescription refilled, but CNN censored some of the interview. D. L. VideoGaiden is a Scottish computer games television show that was broadcast by BBC Two Scotland. Its creators and presenters, Robert Florence and Ryan Macleod, were responsible for the internet-distributed videogaming show Consolevania, upon which the show is based. The show has now been axed. The show began as six ten minute episodes on BBC Two Scotland, broadcast at around midnight on Fridays starting in December 2005. The episodes were also able to be viewed online from the BBC's web site. A second series, consisting of six half-hour episodes, was commissioned by popular demand and began broadcast on Sunday 5 November 2006 at 11:10pm, with episodes once again available on the BBC's website. A third series consisting of eighteen weekly 11-minute online episodes began in December 2007, with three half-hour TV specials episodes also being produced. A Christmas special aired on 23 December 2007. Gaiden is a Japanese word meaning 'side-story'; its use in the show's title is most likely a reference to Ninja Gaiden, a cult classic videogame known for its unforgiving difficulty level.
