Chucklewood Critters is an American line of television specials and an animated TV series created by former Hanna-Barbera animators, Bill Hutten and Tony Love, which centered on two woodland animals: Buttons, a young bear cub, and Rusty, a fox cub. It started as a Christmas special in 1983 called The Christmas Tree Train, followed by eight more holiday/seasonal specials. In 1997 it was developed into a series entitled The New Chucklewood Critters, which ran for two seasons.

"Bakkar" is the name of an Egyptian cartoon series and the main character in the series who tells of his adventures. Bakkar is a young boy who belongs to a Nuba village in southern Egypt and finds himself in the adventures of himself and his friends. He helps the police solve the puzzles because he feels responsible for his community. At the end of each episode, he presents a moral message to children, belonging and patriotism. Spider! was a musical children's television series made by Hibbert Ralph Entertainment for the BBC which originally aired in 1991. It followed the adventures of a spider, the protagonist, and a young boy. The stories were told through song, performed by Jeff Stevenson with his children, Casey and Holly, singing backing vocals. The style of music varies from rock 'n' roll to haunting and melancholic, and was produced by Rick Cassman. A BBC Video entitled "Spider! - I'm Only Scary 'cos I'm Hairy!" which contained all 13 episodes was released soon after the series ended. A DVD version was also released later.
