Two young kids form the Moochie Kalala Detectives Club to uncover the truth behind their grandpa's wild stories. Every Saturday, Grandpa comes over and shares a ridiculous story that twists the kids thinking about science. To uncover the real story, the kids head to Museums and Zoos and meet with real scientists to discover the truth. Episodes feature museums and scientists from Adler Planetarium, The Field Museum, John G. Shedd Aquarium, Museum of Science & Industry, Lincoln Park Zoo and Frank Lloyd Wright Trust.

Summer is here and we are in full summer mode. Tons of time hanging out by the pool and hanging out with friends every day. BUT part of me, like many parents, starts worrying about the dreaded summer slide. So many kids fall behind in reading and math. My kids read all the time, they inherited my love of books. But math? Different story. When I was asked to partner with UMIGO to share with you their innovative and creative site that makes Common Core math fun for kids, I really wanted to partner with them.

All About You was an educational television series that was syndicated to numerous educational and PBS stations during the early and mid-1970s, mainly as part of weekday in-school telecasts. The series was first produced at WHRO-TV, "Hampton Roads ETV", in Hampton, Virginia. In 1974, production of the series was moved to WGBH-TV Boston, where it was produced in association with WGBH's in-school television initiative, the "21-Inch Classroom". The 1974 episodes were distributed in the US and Canada by the Agency for Instructional Television; this is one of a few WGBH series to have not been distributed by NET or PBS.

Betsy's Kindergarten Adventures is a slice of life cartoon intended for young children. The show premiered on January 19, 2008 on PBS Kids. The show follows a girl named Betsy as she starts out her school years. The series premiere shows Betsy facing the uncertainty of her first day of school and the adjustments she must make as she meets her new teacher and classmates, encounters unfamiliar rules and routines, and finds herself in an entirely new environment. Subsequent episodes show Betsy's excitement and sense of adventure as she adapts to the new experiences of kindergarten. This show is similar to other PBS Kids shows like Caillou and Clifford the Big Red Dog that cater to an audience of children between the ages of 2-6.

Good Night Show

The Good Night Show is a television programming block on PBS KIDS Sprout which premiered on September 26, 2005. Programming starts at 6:00pm ET each evening. Throughout the three-hour block, which is repeated three times over the course of the evening, viewers are encouraged to participate in host-led games, songs, crafts, and lessons in yoga and sign language. Activities and games generally revolve around a theme, and take place between theme-appropriate cartoon episodes. These themes include issues of interest to preschool children and their parents, such as imaginary friends, teddy bears, shadows, opposites, dreams, or babysitters.

Nicktoons Film Festival

The Nicktoons Animation Festival is an annual event that was created by producer Fred Seibert and produced for its first three years by his Frederator Studios. Founded in 2004 to showcase the diversity of worldwide animation filmmaking, it is the largest multiplatform animation festival in North America. The festival features a selection of animated shorts from around the globe. Shorts selected for the festival have the chance to be aired on Nicktoons Network, online and to be showcased at the live event in Los Angeles in October. Several prizes are awarded each year. Animators under 18 years old are eligible to enter the Greater Creator Contest. New to the festival in 2008 is the “I Got Game” Contest in partnership with AddictingGames, and a contest for Lego filmmakers, sponsored by Lego.
