A group of thirteen tourists, including Lisa and Andrew, arrives to an Asian country, but instead of exotic travel they get into ordeal. Shipwrecked, they must survive ona desert island.

Germany, 1953. Corrupt gang of Soviet officers appropriated jewelry seized from repressed citizens. The officers take the young scout Terekhov and collector Avdeev, who recently left not so distant places, to guard the myriad wealth.

Some have stated that this is the Russian version of 'Lost' but I cannot comment on that - I have not watched more than the first few episodes. This is supposed to be a group of people that have been "cast off" by relatives for at least three years so their property transferred over to the relative who sent them away. But something goes wrong. One of the people on the boat who was not supposed to by among the stranded is now struggling to survive. The boat transporting them was to drop them off on the island but blows up instead, after the captain escapes to safety. After reaching the island, supplies are obviously for 12 people but there are now thirteen. Suspicions abound as they struggle to survive the elements and unseen dangers while trying to get rescued.

It all starts in 1985. In a small town there are three boys who dream of a career as a naval officer - Sashka Robertson, Leshka Balunov and Vovka Titov. The submarine K-963, on which their fathers serve, is leaving on a secret mission - to the NATO exercise area to find and record an acoustic portrait of the newest, virtually silent American submarine. And the boys, playing submariners in an abandoned factory, fall into a death trap. Years later, when friends Sashka, Leshka and Vovka were finishing school, military service no longer seemed so prestigious to many, values ​​changed, and submarines rusted. Vovka leaves for Moscow, becomes a businessman. Lyoshka goes to the Marine Corps. And only Sashka remains true to his youthful dream and connects his life with the sea - he becomes a submariner.
