It is the story and adventures of Margo, a little mouse who lives in a large tree made chalet. Small Margo has as neighbors Eliana, a squirrel who lives on the top floor; and Dennis, a dormouse that lives in the basement. However, all is not happiness for Margo. The little mouse must deal with some enemies. One day, Eliana goes to visit her mother because she is sick and Margo must look after the house. Then, at night, a sullen owl settles in Eliana's house illegally. So Margo seek ways to take the owl out of the house of her friend. On another occasion, Margo prevents a beggar rat from occupying her home without her permission. Like while hiking should avoid being eaten by a stork. Although Margo has good friends like Anna, a sparrow; or Christophe, a cricket who likes to play the violin. With her friends, Margo lives many adventures.

The series reflects the daily suffering and struggle of women on several levels, at work and at home, where they do homework, take care of their children, and take care of the various details that relate to their small family.

Yume blames her father for her mother's death because if it wasn't for him she wouldn't have had to work so hard and wouldn't have gotten ill and died young. Once she arrives in Tokyo and finds 'Raku no Yu' she finds a name plaque with the inscription Mannaka Rokku, so she is sure this is the place.

Captain Zep – Space Detective is a British television children's series produced by the BBC between 1983 and 1984. Constructed as part drama and part quiz game, Captain Zep featured mysteries that would be solved by the child audience in the studio, along with a write-in competition for viewers. The child audience were dressed in futuristic clothes and had gelled hair. The series was also notable for its combination of live action and animation, where the cast would interact with drawn alien characters amidst drawn backgrounds. Paul Greenwood played the titular Captain Zep in the first series, to be replaced by Richard Morant for series two. Zep was assisted by Professor Spiro who was also replaced in series two by Professor Vana. The only cast member to appear in both series was Ben Ellison as Jason Brown. The theme tune "Captain Zep" was written by David Owen Smith and Paul Aitken and performed by The Spacewalkers.

Another major plotline was that of Tally's "celeb" mother, whom Tally constantly boasted about but who never came to visit. Oscar's Orchestra is a British children's animated TV series that ran from 1994 to 1996 comprising a total of three seasons and 39 episodes. The series was produced by the popular British animation studio Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment in association with Warner Music Vision and Europe Images and was originally shown on the BBC as part of the children's block CBBC. It has also aired on the British children's cable networks The Children's Channel and Nickleodeon, France 2 in France and ABC in Australia. It is set in the distant future, in the year 2743 in a city called New Vienna, and was about a talking piano called Oscar, who rebels against the evil dictator of the world, Thaddius Vent, who has banned music. Oscar and his fellow musical instruments plot against Vent and his henchmen, Lucius and Tank, and his soothsayer, Goodtooth, who always says: 'You screamed, master!'. The voice of Oscar was provided by Dudley Moore.

McDuff, The Talking Dog was a Saturday morning live action television program that aired on NBC in 1976. The show centered around the ghost of a 100-year-old sheepdog who used to live in the home now owned by a veterinarian, Dr. Calvin Campbell. McDuff could talk not only to the other animals, but also to Dr. Campbell. However, Dr. Campbell was the only person who could hear or see McDuff, which often led to wacky situations. Dr. Campbell’s neighbor, Amos Ferguson, was played by Gordon Jump, who would later go on to WKRP in Cincinnati fame.

Zokko was a BBC television programme for children that ran on Saturday mornings between 1968 and 1970. It was devised by veteran children's TV producer Molly Cox, and featured a mixture of animations, film clips, magic and narrated cartoons. The show was named after its "presenter", a talking pinball machine which introduced the clips and then scored them in its robotic voice e.g. "Zokko, Score 7". The programme is regarded as "the first televised children's comic". Apart from a compilation of highlights, only one complete episode remains in the BBC's archives.
