An Impossibly Small Object

A Dutch photographer (played by David Verbeek himself – also a talented photographer in real life) takes a picture of a girl in a parking lot in nighttime Taipei as she plays with her kite. The photo transports us into her life. She is eight years old and is about to lose her best friend, a boy from a wealthy family who is moving to America. Back in the Netherlands, the photographer is confronted with his own constant loneliness. The photo of the girl evokes memories of his own childhood, when he still felt at home somewhere.

Fatima 2: Strange Phenomena

We are releasing our groundbreaking film in The Watchman Chronicles series, Fatima 2 – Strange Phenomena. This film is explosive as it contains never before seen photographs from the 1917 events in Fatima, Portugal. Does this photograph prove that a disc-like object went over the crowd on the moors of Fatima almost 101 years ago? Does it validate many of the eye-witnesses who claimed to have seen a dull, silver disc? We are also offering the book by Jose Machado, who is a professor of Semiotics and gained access to the sanctuary at Fatima where he discovered the circular object in the photograph.

Vive la Revolution! Joan Bakewell on May '68

In 1968 Joan Bakewell was one of the few female TV presenters, fronting the BBC's Late Night Line-Up and addressing daily the most pressing issues of the time. In this film she looks back at the events that led to what for many became the defining event of that extraordinarily turbulent year - the protests in France in May. While the rest of the world was in turmoil, with the Vietnam War causing increasing dissent, the Civil Rights movement growing in intensity and young people finding new ways of expressing themselves, as 1968 began it seemed to France's president, General de Gaulle, that his country was immune to the kind of protest sweeping the rest of the world.

Anne Frank Meets God

Based on a poem by a WWII vet, Anne Frank Meets God is a haunting film set in one of the darkest moments in human history. It explores the unanswered questions that arise in the face of tragedy and in the deaths of those who are far, far too young. It is a meditation on life, on death, and on purpose. The film imagines a final reckoning between Anne Frank (Aubrey Peeples) and God (Lorraine Toussaint). It is a reminder of the effect that just one person, even a young girl hidden away, can have on the world
