They come to meet a middle aged lady, Shizuko, who is running away with a large sum of money, and an ex-cop, Goh, who repeatedly attempts suicide, and they spend a night together - Homesick is a road movie set in late autumn in Hokkaido, and it illustrates people's homesickness with black humour.

In January 2009, the Korean historical fantasy/drama The Legend, featuring Bae Yong Joon, having been turned into a Takarazuka-style musical by playwright and director Koike Shuuichirou, was performed by Flower Troupe and attracted a lot of attention. The story takes place at the time when the protagonist became the king of Gouryeo, which existed on the Korean Peninsula from the era before Christ until the 7th century. It tells of a repeating fate and agonizing love that has lived on for thousands of years. This time, it will be brought to the stage in a new version by a new Star Troupe led by Yuzuki Reon.
Hana no Edo is a cold city for the poor, so in the spring she returned to her hometown with her husband, Moichi. However, Haru and others, who were in trouble with money, stole at a fabric store and became wanted people, so they were kicked out of the house by his older sister Mugi. In that village, there was a temple with a good chief priest, and there was a lucky Mawari Kannon. Having nowhere to go, Mr. and Mrs. Haru are asked to live at the temple. Gosaku, the cleaning assistant of the temple, was watching the scene. Gosaku thinks that Haru is a courtesan who escaped from Edo, and spreads it to the men in the village. Then, in the spring, she pretends to be a courtesan, and begins to show off her obi untied performance at the side of the temple.

Daisuke, who works for a large company, is dating Natsuki, whom he met at a party. When I visit her room, she is absent, and her roommate, an English teacher, Yui, shows up after taking a bath. When he seduces Daisuke, who can't hide his turmoil, he ends up hugging Yui. Daisuke says that he is prepared to break up with Natsuki, but he is kicked out because he doesn't think she's his woman just because he slept once.
Sara arrives in a deserted town and hears that a pachinko tournament is being held there. There are 100 participants and a total prize pool of 100 million yen. The film was made by the Japanese visual artist Uemine Satoshi, and DVD released in 2005. This silent, personal movie bears and reflects the traces of the re-encounter between the director and his girlfriend, who had been hospitalized because of her deteriorating mental condition. Almost all scenes were shot in Hokkaido, the north island of Japan. Although nothing dramatic happens here, Sizuka no Umi builds a series of beautiful images that are raw, honest, and passionate. Lightly influenced by the East Coast experimental filmmakers like Jonas Mekas & kept in touch with some Nouvelle Vague feeling.
