Sunsets, everyday is the result of an investigation that the artist undertook of the process, both physical and cinematic, involved in creating images of domestic violence. During the lockdown, some victims courageously used social media to share photos of their faces, as a way of encouraging other women to report such crimes. The marks on their bodies were the only tangible proof of the blows and pain they had suffered, and the artist took these as a point of departure for thinking about all the things that happen out of sight.

Karen, a former professional soccer player born in Puente Alto in the southern part of Santiago. Rosa, her grandmother, assumes the role of mother and becomes a fundamental piece in Karen's life and career. In 2008 Karen begins a love relationship with her neighbor Mariel, a year later they get married in the company of family and close friends. Coto, Mariel's father, never questioned the relationship and accepts that Mariel and Karen move in with him. They will share, joys, fears, life and also death. A record that moves between madness and lucidity, an invitation to feel the heroic act of simply being and being. To resist.

Earthsatz

The world, as it is shown to us by Google Earth, is intriguing… The shapes’ imperfections, the textures’ distorsions, the suspended time, are all attributes of a new kind of universe, an hybrid one, looking more like an algorithmic fiction than our tangible reality. Earthsatz tries to amplify the cold and oppressive poetry generated by this « pocket world », where life doesn’t exist and particules are replaced by pixels. Maybe we should try to contemplate it for what it really is: a fictional universe that mimics the one we are living in, developing its own autonomy. With photogrammetry, we scanned some parts of the Google-generated world. We built 3D landscapes from them and tried to highlight their surreal caracteristics, playing with mysterious lights, impossible distortions and moving points of view. "Earthsatz" is a ride in this corrupted world, celebrating all its fictional, articificial and irrational aspects.

Against the backdrop of Pakistan's elections, this film follows the rise of powerful cleric Khadim Hussain Rizvi, on a mission to preserve the country's blasphemy laws, which prescribe a mandatory death sentence for disrespecting The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and life imprisonment for desecrating the Holy Quran. With millions sympathetic to his goal, Rizvi silences anyone attempting to change the law by condemning them to death. As he pushes for more power, Rizvi decides to run for office in the upcoming general elections, and those accused of blasphemy or those who oppose the blasphemy laws- whether targeted minorities, liberals, and opposing Muslim voices - become the pawns of his ambition.

However, as being henceforth old for a cat, Byron gets ill, and given only three months left to live. Sandra must accept the idea of an end; impotent, she has to make the decision to finish whom she loves above all to avoid his suffering.

The score mirrors Hawthorn’s defeated ego in his desperate love for a returning friend, Magnolia. Sorrowful and deeply felt, Hawthorn’s lovesickness is Romanticist in colour. The wilderness is uncaring. The water laps softly against the muddy sand, oblivious. Fat seals continue to lounge on rocks out at sea.

The strict quarantine in the spring of 2020 reduced the living space of hundreds of millions of people down to just a few square meters. The horizon was limited to the view from the window, boredom permeated the days, and an endless stream of catastrophic rumors emanated from the radio and television. Against the backdrop of his own mental and physical discomfort, the director begins to shoot a video diary. The similarly non-existent static camera records existential monologues as well as activities serving basic bodily needs. This philosophical essay is woven from reflections on the coming transformation of the world and the images that try to capture it.

The full attention of everyone - just for a moment in time. Maya is sixteen and tries to find online-fame and understanding through a selfie-live-vlog of suicide notes. She streams constantly to a forum of like-minded users. Her many last words are sometimes narcissistic, sometimes poetic and sometimes very honest. She suffers from depression. When Maya travels to Prague with her parents - a trip, that is supposed to somehow cheer her up - she plans for her suicidal fantasies to become reality.

Made entirely during lockdown as a response to the current pandemic.My wife and I prepped, shot and cut this over 72 manic hours, using only what we had lying around our apartment: an old DSLR, plastic, black paint, lighter fluid, prehistoric fog machine, strip lights and a gimp mask. When the authorities present the alleged perpetrator just a few hours after a fatal robbery, Gregor suspects a serious miscarriage of justice. The charges brought before the court do not match what Gregor saw with his own eyes shortly before the crime. Since the police and the public prosecutor's office show no interest in his testimony, Gregor begins to investigate the case himself. Eventually, the full extent of the crime is revealed, putting Gregor, his colleagues, and his most important source in danger.
