Han Kil-soo will do anything and everything to get ahead. He betrays Chairman Heo Man-chul, who has brought Kil-soo success. Kil-soo even takes Chairman Heo's mistress, Song Mi-ran, away from him. When he meets Seo Ji-hye, a college student, Kil-soo falls in love for the first time. He quickly frames his wife and even divorces her. On the other hand, Kil-soo's hometown friend, Baek Chan-gyu, values mental peace above all and searches for the value of work. By Chairman Heo's plotting, Kil-soo is bankrupted. He spends three years and six months in jail. After his release, Kil-soo still hasn't lost that arrogance in his eyes. He still believes in the golden dream of being a special citizen.

Master Maeng is very proud that an influential family will soon be his esteemed in-laws when his loving daughter, Mi-yeon, marries their son. The poet Ha Bin meets with Nam Mi Ri on a rainy day which brings them misfortune. The next day, Ha Bin goes to see Mi Ri but meets her fiancee, Son Du Ho, instead. Du Ho is the executive in charge of overseas business at the company of Mi Ri's father. He is also the boss of a drug smuggling ring. Mi Ri's stepmother, Kang Hye In, is the director of domestic sales at Dong Hae Trade. She combines forces with Kwon Ki Pyo, Du Ho's rival, to try and take control. Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb, the so-called “thrill killers” who murdered a young boy in 1924 in order to commit “the perfect crime.” The story is told in flashbacks, beginning with a 1958 parole hearing.

After 17 years that Chang-ryeol has spent watching French movies in his room out of his love for French films, he (finally) became a real French. His parents worry about their son so they decide to call in a French doctor, Truffaut for help.

Not only that, the next morning, she leaves without a word to Tae-seong and Min-goo. Tae-seong isn't sure he can take care of Min-goo so he returns the child to the child care center and runs back to Seoul. Can these three become a family again?

Based on a serial novel by Cho Hae-il, "Winter Woman" deals with the sexual awakening of Yi-hwa, the daughter of a prosperous Christian preacher who has been raised to be morally and sexually conservative. The book and film earned the condemnation of conservative critics, however the author's leftist subtext went unchallenged overshadowed by the sexual themes. The film was the best selling Korean film of the 1970s and made a star of its female lead, Chang Mi-hee.

"A Journey with Korean Masters" is an omnibus film compiling four shorts created by directors who once dominated Korean cinema: Park Chul-soo, Lee Doo-yong, Lee Jang-ho, and Chung Ji-young. This modest project is the product of collaboration between professional and amateur actors of all ages and the masters. The aim was to promote the city of Seoul and the harmony of old and new. The project began as a promotional event, but its cinematic quality is equal, if not superior, to any Korean films officially invited to BIFF this year. That is by no means simply being polite. This special screening is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the unique characteristics of masters experiencing a cinema renaissance in their twilight years.
