Umamusume: Pretty Derby ~Sprinters' Story~ (ウマ娘 プリティーダービー〜Sprinters' Story〜, Umamusume Puritī Dābī 〜Sprinters' Story〜) is the first stage play of the Umamusume franchise. Being first revealed on August 21, 2022, the title and main visual were announced on November 5, 2022. It was directed by Akiko Kodama, with script by Cygames. The stage features an original story made for the stage play, with Daitaku Helios as the main character, alongside Daiichi Ruby, K.S.Miracle and Yamanin Zephyr, focusing on representing the horses racing with live performances after. The stage play was performed at Tokyo's Shinagawa Prince Hotel on January 15, 2023, and from January 27 to January 29, 2023. 15 shows in total were planned, but most of these were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Junior high schoolers Sudo Ai and Sosuke Ito live together as a patchwork family in a small town in Hokkaido, all thanks to Ai’s mother, Yumi, creating an environment of love. Bullying and the harsh environment cannot pierce that safety until Yumi dies. Cast adrift, the kids are separated, Ai is taken to Tokyo by her father, and Sosuke is left behind.

Initially shown off at the "GeGeGe no Kitarou Tribute Art Exhibition Kitarou EXPO", which was an art exhibition in Japan commemorating the 100th anniversary of mangaka Shigeru Mizuki's birth. The animation directed by Atsushi Wada was later released publicly onto the Toei Animation Beyond YouTube Channel on March 12, 2024.

Junior high school student Yuki, a member of a travelling theater troupe, changes schools every month for performances. Because of this, he does not expect to meet people at any of his schools and does not try to make friends. Meanwhile, a woman who is an actress in a small theatre troupe meets a manga artist's assistant at a get together and smoothly ends up living with him at his apartment.... The first half of the film focuses on the Chinese restaurant employee played by director OKUDA Yosuke himself and the young high school boy. The second half develops around the female actress and while these two are vastly separated, their stories subtly intertwine leading to an unexpected conclusion.

In a future where humans have all forgotten how to speak, a survivalist starts getting strangely attached to the man she has captured.

Then, the toys that were shipped to Sumikko's town start moving around. There is something "mysterious" about this factory.
