Byung-tae who has cerebral paralysis goes to the wrong destination and then meets Min-wu and suicidal Chun-ja in the station office and joins their journey. Chun-ja causes a lot of trouble such as stealing Byung-tae's wallet and running away. Chun-ja, who is pregnant, gives birth in a barn. Min-wu and Chun-ja hold a small wedding in a church. The trio arrive in Chun-ja's hometown and Byung-tae heads alone for Kyung-ju, his destination. There he does plenty of sightseeing.

Hanasareru Gang actually encapsulates three titles in one, for when written without Kanji characters, it can describe a gang that is “on everyone’s lips”, “flowery” or “separated from one other”. The film plays with these different meanings to tell the not strictly chronological story of a fun-loving young woman who joins up with a pair of petty criminals. After they steal a car containing a suitcase full of bank notes, they must go their separate ways. When the characters comment on the action in voiceover, ask how much more time the film is going to give them, quote from “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” or suddenly jump back and forth between tragedy and slapstick in tune with the music, one might think that Pierrot le fou got lost and ended up in Japan.

Samon Kamiyama, a skilled yoriki under Toyama Saemon-no-jō Kagemoto is feared and known to the villains as “Samon from the Hell.” Samon suspects that the drowning incident at the raw silk wholesaler Shinano-ya was the work of Maruya Rihei, a kimono wholesaler favored by the Ōoku, but has no evidence to prove his allegation. The elder Arao Tsushima-no-kami who is colluding with Maruya plan on building a gold mine on an uninhabited island using prisoners. Arao gives the supervision charge to Samon, who along with his comrades and Horikawa takes up his post on the island but is attacked by assassins one after another.

The Black Boss, Yellow Tiger and Merciless Tsang join forces and snatch a million dollars. The Black Boss is responsible for hiding the money temporarily, and keeps a map of it's whereabouts. But Yellow Tiger and Merciless Tsang are impatient and want their split early. The dispute ends with the Black Boss dead, and only one person knowing the location of the money - his daughter. The heat is on as his daughter, and the man who befriend her, try to recover the money and outfox their pursuers

One day, Mio, a reporter, is shown a manuscript for a contest by Kuribayashi, the editor-in-chief. The manuscript, which she is told will likely make it to the final round, is that of Kashiwagi, who was supposed to marry Kuribayashi's daughter. Hearing the familiar name, Mio learns that Kashiwagi is now married to the daughter of a top company and holds a high position. The two are nostalgic about their reunion, but soon after, a series of murders occur. Mio investigates the case to prove Kashiwagi's innocence, even though he was suspected of murder.

Just when things seem their grimmest, the three are released, their bonds posted by an ex Army General. His intention is to put their supreme fighting skills to use against his family's black sheep, a powerful mafioso who employs top fighters from all over the world as protection.

At the end of Koryo dynastry, Hyang-seon, the daughter of Master Song, had been chosen to be the Crown Prince's wife. Under the orders of Master Kim, Mi-kwang attacks and violates Hyang-seon on her way back from praying to Buddha. Hyang-seon kills herself. Due to this incident, both of Hyang-seon's parents are bestowed the King's poison (the death penalty). A struggle breaks out between undertaker and grave robbers over the wealthy dowry. Meanwhile, Mi-kwang asks for the hand of Ie-hwa, daughter of Master Kim. However, Mi-kwang dies because of Master Kim. Master Kim's wife dies when a snake comes out of the wedding presents and bites her. Ie-hwa is chosen to be the Crown Prince's wife. The day before she is to meet the queen, Hyang-seon's ghost appears at the house of Master Kim and has her revenge. Master Kim is killed. Now aware of the full story, Ie-hwa stands before her parent's graves and Hyang-seon's grave where she asks for Hyang-seon's forgiveness.

The plot is based on the Korean folk tale, The Tale of Chunhyang. Chunhyang falls in love with the upper-class Ri Mong-ryong, but they must marry in secret. Mong-ryong is sent away to become a government official. While he is away, Chunhyang is imprisoned by a corrupt governor. Mong-ryong returns just in time to save her from execution and the two can publicly proclaim their love.

A biographical documentary produced as part of the 20th anniversary project of the silent film appreciation society led by Shunsui Matsuda, who was known as a silent film narrator, film collector and exhibitor. The film features interviews with directors and related parties involved in the production while inserting scenes from period dramas starring Tsumasanburo Bando throughout from Matsuda’s extensive collection. Completed in 1980 but not released to the general public until 1993 on the 40th anniversary of Bando’s death and Matsuda’s seventh anniversary.

Worse comes to worst, as Ah Hsia cannot stand Fa any longer and practically disappears off the face of the earth and starts another life, albeit in Hong Kong, but far enough from the crazy Fa. Fa, still thinking of Ah Hsia, manages to get involved in a relationship with a PR girl named Hsing (Elaine Kam), to soothe over his desire for a female companion. Eventually, Fa spots Ah Hsia again, and this time he will not let her go. Man! This Fa is crazy.

A painter and a novelist share an abandoned apartment building. The painter takes in 99 stray dogs as the subjects of his next work but, as he does not have enough resources to feed them, the dogs turn feral. Meanwhile, the novelist begins to have an uneasy dread about what will happen when the painter's latest work is complete
