This video is inspired by city symphony genre, It is a review of this genre in post-modern style, It’s a kind of documentary. The title is a verse by W. Shakespeare's The Tempest, which tells the story of Prospero, the wizard and the real Duke of Milan. The movie ends with a view of the Seven Heavenly Palaces a monumental opera by Anselm Kiefer, a detournement of a tridimensional artwork: the monumental opera become a vision of a future or an hypothetical parallel world.

Permanence is part of a project lasted two years, following the demolition process of Crooswijk neighborhood in Rotterdam, one of the most extensive urban “redevelopment” ever in the history of The Netherlands. Hundreds of social houses are being replaced by new luxury residential buildings. The apparent stillness of objects and spaces reveals a superhuman time that remains suspended.

Considering that it is impossible to describe a thing as we remember it or as it is brought back to us in the present by images, what is going to be created will necessarily be another thing, a thing which will be similar to a vision or a dream. Maybe it is birth, or fall, the first big moment of transition- and so, of clash, which we are called to. Coming to light, rising, happening, coming to be. At that moment, all the sounds and the images of the people who are close to us, or of the ones who are far and have weaved their passing by with ours unify. Everything is already there at that transitioning moment. What will come of our life will be that composite knot of sounds and images that will unfold until the dissolution.

The project is part of a series of works investigating the meaning of the visual limit. μεταξύ is a work exploring the space of the image, the space in between.

Silent Edge is a work that questions about the vision itself. The idea of ​​this project comes from a reflection on the concept of “limit”. The space constrained between the horizontal and the vertical, between X and Y.

We are not there, we do not find ourselves, almost lost, almost suspended. Alert, ready to shoot, the danger is out of range and has no signals. Going toward the light to take dangerous risks. The story is a psycho-drama full of turns of events right from the opening scene and well after the credits. Icaro, a man in his late thirties with a wife and a child he loves and a safe job in a bank, is all of a sudden reminded of his boyhood ambition when Ombra, an eerie creature belonging to his cradle-day memories, reappears in his life. With Ombra back, nothing can ever be the same. Ancient dreams and hidden skeletons plummet the protagonist into spiraling insanity as present and past collide.

Patrick and Jeanette are a happy loving couple. When Jeanette’s ex boyfriend reappears, Patrick’s thoughts about his relationship and his own identity start to break.

The film richly illustrates the history of one of the most famous and lavish Italian pleasure villas, located in the town of Lainate in Lombardy, not far from Milan. Using onsite documentation, costumed reenactments, interviews with prominent curators and historians, architectural models, and computer graphics, Villa Visconti Borromeo Litta portrays centuries of Italian art and architectural history in terms of stylistic expression. The film also explores the social, familial, and political milieux—not least of which is the chronicle of Pirro I Visconti Borromeo, count of Brebbia, the creator of this place of art and delights, a romantic, a patron, and a sophisticated man of culture in Milan during the late sixteenth century. The villa’s wonders are many—its famous Nymphaeum, greenhouses, palaces, sculptures, frescoes, fountains, and water features among them.
