As Godard said, a film is made up of "images and sound," but inevitably the images tend to be primary and the sound secondary. In order to break this and make the sound (in this case the words) the primary focus, I came up with the idea of using footage shot with the lens removed.

One day in early summer. Yoshiko, the shy older sister, and Kana, the active younger sister, are following Sawada, a university student with long hair. He is the boy of Yoshiko's dreams. Kana is left alone with Sawada, who is looking for a notebook that fell into the river, and starts asking him questions. When she is left alone, Kana starts to ask Sawada about his notebook, which has fallen into the river, and Sawada is taken aback by Kana's frankness but joins in the conversation. When Kana approaches him to tell him about her sister's feelings, he becomes reluctant to leave her side. As they repeatedly argue, their hearts somehow grow closer.

The hands of the young, the old, the men, the women, the hands of all generations, sometimes in everyday life, sometimes in extraordinary situations, are the focus of this film, which with its superb powers of observation vividly reveals the drama of human life and its vicissitudes hidden in everyday life. Like a game of cat's-paw, in which a thread is passed between fingers to form a shape, the filmmaker's ability to connect unconnected scenes to form a larger theme shines through.
As demonstrated by the film's title, Kawanaka has been exploring the theme of “Shishōsetsu” (“realized” fiction) for some time. For the author, there is a personal tension which develops between the self which experiences life, and the self which attempts to record images filtered through time and imagination. (Karen Keane)

The live concert movie centers around the last day at Yokohama Arena during his first tour "HIDE OUR PSYCHOMMUNITY - Hide no Heya e Yokoso". Hide's ideas and stage gimmicks were constantly changing and developing even during concert tours. Another surprise about this video is that in 1993, Hide already foresaw that there was going to be a hardware that allows viewers to enjoy films in multi-angle mode, and because of that idea, the clip for "Doubt" was filmed in multi-angle mode. That film footage was shelved till now that finally DVD carries that feature.

The Umezu-gumi stands in opposition to the Iwasa-gumi, which rules the streets. In this city where tensions remain on the brink of explosion, Hideki Minashima is released from Osaka Prison. He visits Iwasa to convey the final words of Shimizu, with whom he had shared a cup of sake as brothers whilst in prison. Meanwhile, Umezu’s expression changes upon meeting Minashima. For he was none other than the former boss of the Kobe Kazama-gumi—the parent organisation of the Umezu-gumi. Twelve years earlier, the boss had been stabbed to death, leading to the dissolution of the group; senior members Hirokawa, Kurahashi and Kudo had each gone their separate ways. Iwasa, who had become enamoured with Minashima—who was devoting himself to training with the aim of one day rebuilding the group—proposed handing over the position of second-in-command to him. Umezu, however, betrayed the code of honour of the underworld and turned his blade against Minashima...

This film was shot in an ruined house that once stood in Shibuya Udagawa-cho, Tokyo. The block where the house located was a redevelopment area. Shibuya, known as one of Tokyo's most popular bustling street, has an area where old building are still clustered together, and the surrounding area has become like a ghost town. They need an actor to take the lead role in the city's production. Peter reluctantly agrees, and when he arrives at the city hall he finds out that the other "Actors" are all locals with big aspirations and little talent. Moreover, he learns that he is expected to direct. The show will be "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

The two young lovers have opposite personalities and quarrel constantly over trivial matters. However, their quarrels usually end with the man arguing unilaterally, but that day was different. The woman's resentment exploded. Will it be the end for them? A little love that exists everywhere. The quarrels and make-ups that all lovers repeat. The film succeeds in creating a love that is unique to these two people by casually but carefully depicting "why does he love her like that" and "why does she love him like that", despite the fact that this is a typical example.
It's me, Granny. When she opens the door, she finds a zombie, Little Red Riding Hood. Once upon a time..." The title of the picture book is "Red Riding Hood". But it's about two old women, a wizard and a fortune-teller, who are fighting each other. The fortune-teller's granddaughter, Little Red Riding Hood, dies of the plague as soon as she comes out - and she's not the only one. But that's where her success comes in. Dug up in the middle of her decay by a wizard, Little Red Riding Hood is resurrected as a zombie with the brains of a goat. Her only order is to kill her grandmother, but when she learns the smell of blood and the pleasure of killing, there's no stopping her. This is an immoral fairy tale for adults, animated with exquisite models. The puppets, with their European gloom, match the content of the story too well.

Ryohei's classmates and family members, who had initially ridiculed him, are impressed by Ryohei's single-minded demeanor and begin to help him without realizing it.

Still, life has meaning. A university student with the unusual name of Takanashi (小鳥遊). He has always been a soft-spoken person, but when he is strongly criticised by others, he has a strange disease that causes him to suddenly fall asleep. Today, he works part-time as a road construction worker, causing trouble, but he falls in love at first sight with a rollerblader who passes by. He is happy to see her again by chance, but in a strange turn of events, he is misunderstood and falls asleep. When he wakes up, he sets off to express his feelings. At the same time, she also starts running to find him... A sensitive and timid young man steps out into the outside world for the first time. Regardless of the outcome, the preciousness of the act itself is lightly conveyed in a spare, lean film.
He feels suffocated and bothered by the small community, be it the local area or the relationships, but he also knows that there is a part of him that can be spoilt somewhere, and he cannot get out of it. This is the situation that most people today find themselves in, but this film depicts the tragedy that is caused by people who are eighteen there, in many different ways. There, victims can also become perpetrators, and perpetrators can instantly become victims, and this is clearly conveyed in the film, which is probably one of the main reasons for the use of middle-aged and older people as heavily weighted performers, which is unusual for an independently produced film.
Each person lives a different life, but the hand seemed to be a metaphor for that person's life. In other words, I thought that the life of the person would be determined by what he had. I pick up a fountain pen and stuff the film by hand. This tells my life. I made such a thought into a work.
The sensation of forward movement is taken for granted. Lateral motion, however, is a more recent phenomenon. Due to the inventions of the mechanical age, our perception of speed has grown faster.
