Face in Motion depicts Chang Chao-Tang from the shoulders up, dressed in a light tank top, shaking his head and contorting his face. The background is pitch black, and he is lit with an almost otherworldly glow. The artist recorded at two frames per second, rather than the typical twenty-four, speeding up the erratic movement. He occasionally flips upside down or appears in blue and green colourised layers on top of the colourless original. A high-intensity electronic track, ‘Pulstar’, by the Greek musician Vangelis, accompanies the video and accentuates its volatile energy.

Bullied by Bí-tin, who also fancies Tshiu-sing, Lē-hun is saved from an assault by Bí-tin’s father, Guân-hìng, revealing a buried past—Guân-hìng once shared a tragic romance with Lē-hun’s mother, Xiumei, which was sabotaged by his wife, Yuejiao. Years later, these intertwined love stories resurface, altering the fates of all involved. Directed by HSIN Chi in his final Taiyupian, with a theme song by Judy ONGG, it poignantly captures the era’s social issues.

The shimotsuki festival has been passed down over the centuries in the community of Shimoguri, located in Kamimura in Nagano Prefecture’s Shimoina District. The population once staged a revolt against the oppression of the Toyama clan who governed the region. Disease spread in the aftermath and was thought to be the work of the slain clan. The festival was initiated to clear their resentment. The masks of dead spirits dance amid clouds of steam from boiling water.

Situated in the hills leading down to the coast, Ruifang used to pride itself on its coal mining industry. Every morning, miners from surrounding neighbourhoods gathered here to put on their gears and got into the minecarts, heading underground into pitch darkness. They worked non-stop in challenging conditions of high stress and high temperature, providing Taiwan with an indispensable source of energy. This documentary celebrates the miners’ contribution, but also stirred up controversy due to its inaccurate report of their wages.

Budo: The Art of Killing is an award winning 1978 Japanese martial arts documentary created and produced by Hisao Masuda and financed by The Arthur Davis Company. Considered a cult classic, the film is a compilation of various Japanese martial art demonstrations by several famous Japanese instructors such as Gozo Shioda, Taizaburo Nakamura and Teruo Hayashi. Martial arts featured in the film include: Karate, Aikido, Kendo, Sumo, and Judo among others.

Jung Kyung-hwa started teaching at the age of 18 and she begins a new career as a journalist in Youngnam Daily. When her first article appeared on the newspaper, she felt happy. But she was enraged when her exclusive story about the corruption of an orphanage got ignored. In the meantime, she met another journalist, Kim and managed a life of a wife and a journalist through the times of the student revolution in 1960 and the military coup in the following year. She did catch the exclusive interview with President Pak Jung-hi and contributed to enhance the Youngnam Daily's name.

After winning the war with Russia, Japan sends out young Japanese men of the Black Dragon Group to Manchuria in order to take control of the Manchurian coalmines that are in disarray. The Japanese consul general and mayor of Bong-chun city conspire to take control of the coalmines. However, the White Dragon Group, a branch of the Korean independence fighters, with the help of the great warrior Lee Mu-rim, completely ruins the Japanese plans to take over the coal mines.

A Sequel to "Ultraman - Protector of the World", based on the Ultraseven series, including the eponymous episode alongside other episodes from Ultraseven.

During the most difficult years of the Anti-Japanese War in 1941, the Japanese invaders and the Kuomintang's forces colluded with each other harassing the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area. Because of this, people faced many difficulties. A charcoal burning team of Eighth Route Army in Yan'an responded to the call of the Party Central Committee and Chairman Mao to "do it yourself, get enough food and clothing". Under the leadership of the captain Zhao Changlong, they rush to the deep mountains and old forests to cut through thorns, camp, and dig kilns to burn charcoal.

An appropriation of an ukiyo-e print of Katsuhika Hokusai, this work incorporates multiple exposures and a range of animation techniques. Recently created from a faded print, this telecine copy restores the vivid red of the original version.

The old Yoo works as a Korean traditional group song's singer at a public cemetery. He was born at the North Korea, and watched killing scene of his wife and children while crossing over the border to South Korea. He comes to South Korea alone and suffers from a lot of difficulties, and becomes a singer of group song at the public cemetery. He adopts six years old girl named Oki, who wandered at the cemetery, as his daughter. Until his daughter becomes adult to get married, he does not married again and watch a lot of the death. All of the sorrows and complaints are in vain in front of the death. He also dies hearing the songs of other group song's singers who worked together.

In the mid-1970s, protests were waning across Japan after the Red Army scandal of Asama Cottage. In Sanrizuka, people were weary of the violence and the airport was well under construction. As for Ogawa Productions, they invited criticism by pulling out and moving to a quiet village in northern Japan. But when protesters back in Sanrizuka erected a tall tower at the end of one runway, they sent a crew to document what happened. This became the final film of the Sanrizuka Series.

This is the first starring role I've seen Casanova Wong play. He and the film's producers seem to be paying homage to Toshiro Mifune, Clint Eastwood, Jimmy Wang Yu et al. Casa is very much the taciturn, serious lone man on a mission. He is always focussed, apparently calm, until he explodes into action.

An alien princess (heavily inspired by the famous comic book character Wonder Woman) teams up with a handsome astronaut to take on the rival alien race hunting her down.

Cheng Hou's campy kung fu adventure stars martial arts expert Ling feng Shangguan as a a sheriff's daughter who goes undercover as a man, seeking to clear her father's name after he's framed by a gang of salt bandits. Karate master Yasuaki Kurata shines as Chang Piao, the gang's deliciously ruthless leader, who proves a formidable opponent for Shangguan's vengeful daughter. Kang Chin and Jackie Chen also star in this 1974 classic.

Spirits of Chun-Sam's mother and wife, who are raped and severely murdered by Rang-Son and his followers, appear to kill 4 knights. Surprised by this, the lord asks Chun-Sam to help Rang-Son to seize the ghosts. Ghosts recognize him and avoid fighting. But his wife's spirit can't tolerate longing for him and appears to him to spend one night in defiance with her mother-in-law's dissuade. Rang-Son understand the situation and tries to catch the ghosts by using Chun-Sam as a bait, but the ghosts kill his followers. As Chun-Sam finds the truth, he kills Rang-Son. When Chun-Sam builds graves for his mother and wife, two ghosts revive from death and appear in front of him

In Yamakita, a town in the Ashigarakami District of Kanagawa Prefecture, there is a nenbutsu chanting practice associated with the Noanji Soto Zen temple that has a history of approximately 600 years. The nenbutsu is chanted as men rotate a large strand of 302 prayer beads affixed around a pulley. This is followed by a lion dance (shishimai) that proceeds around all the houses of the village as a purification ritual.

You-chan is a young man who delivers eggs from Tochigi Prefecture to Tokyo's city center, and he is an avid fan of yakuza movies. One day, he encounters an escaped prisoner during deliveries and becomes friends with him. Detective Arabuka shoots the man dead, and You-chan is arrested for obstruction of justice. After three days in jail, he becomes a member of the dead prisoner's organization.
