A fire burns in the dark. This film follows four voices speaking of their connection to nature. From different lands, they meet online to share memories and sensations. Amid urban birds, smog, clichéd forests, and landscapes of development, the film traces the feeling called 'connection' and the layers of fantasy around it.

Gi-hyuk and Taein drift through the day in a grocery delivery truck, repeating orders, reports, and instructions. Overhearing investors and stock manipulators, they glimpse the hidden workings of power yet change nothing. At the final destination, by the sea, Gi-hyuk walks on, silent and steady, like an ox.

In collaboration with painter Yun-hee Huh, this work documents a year-long practice of filming the sunrise through multiple exposures on four 100ft rolls of 16mm film. Each of the four rolls represents a season (fall, winter, spring, summer) with seven separate sunrise shoots layered onto a single roll of film, creating a compressed record of time and light.

In the alleys of Bogwang-dong, on the verge of disappearance, the film follows lingering bodies and their traces. The voice of a traditional Korean vocalist and the ringing of bells awaken the sleeping alleyways, while a dancing body moves through them, revealing the village's time and an unfinished story.

The story follows Nagi, a lonely girl living in a harbor village. Her daily routine centers around the attic of a fish shop, where she spends her time in solitude, always carrying a fishbowl with her.

The child travels and collects pictures. She arrives at the ruined village and finds a scribble there. As she wandered around the village after chasing graffiti, she fell into fantasy at some point and saw the past of the village.

The only memory Young-i has of her late grandfather is a small childhood mishap involving red bean ice cream. At his funeral, she remembers him in silence, overcome with grief, and eats that ice cream—which she only began to appreciate after his death.
