After years in prison, Jeff finally returns to his home town. Along the way he meets a beautiful girl. After a while he gets to the pharmacy owned by his brother, Gordon, who barely manages to hide from the unexpected surprise of the meeting. After some confusion Gordon offers Jeff to stay with him for a while. Gordon introduces his wife to Jeff. Linda was none other than the girl with whom he had recently met. She seduces Jeff and trying to persuade him to murder his brother in order to get his business.

Explores the nature of man, not only with feet of clay, but with a face of clay as well. Within a colourless city of walls, corridors, and small rooms, a man makes his way from home to work, then to a bar, and then, by a stroke of luck, into an outdoors of space, fresh air, and colour. Along the way, he changes his face to fit his surroundings, interacts with his dog, argues with co-workers, and gossips at a bar. His altering of his visage suggests a two-faced nature, and his stepping into the outdoors provides the ultimate test of his real identity.

In his film, Rosa von Praunheim approaches the famous communist theater director Erwin Piscator by developing irreverent improvisations in the spirit of Piscator together with acting students from the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in East Berlin. Chris Marker’s Bullfight in Okinawa is a bizarre, 4 min documentary that introduces viewers to Japan’s subterranean past time of bullfighting. Part of Markers five-film “Bestiary” series, Bullfight employs observational documentary techniques and, in particular, Marker’s camerawork is impressive — tight framed shots, free-hand pans, and quick zooms all contribute to the film’s urgent sense of tension — and, if it weren’t for the suspense inducing music, this short-gem would be damn close to pure objective documentary cinema.
