the art of boredom

'the art of boredom' is an improvised, surrealist psychological featurette that captures a raw, 41-minute existential crisis of the mind. Released in May 2025, the film follows Main Character (MC), an individual deeply disillusioned with waking reality who discovers a surreal inner sanctuary known as the "Dream State." Within this trippy, heavily color-graded landscape, MC encounters personified mental forces: the confrontational entity Boredom, the enticing presence of Creativity, and a stern Dream-like Therapist. As MC grows increasingly obsessed with the absolute freedom of this subconscious realm, his presence begins to disturb the balance of the dream world, sparking a tense internal conflict over where he truly belongs.

The Boomtown Rats: Live at Wacken

The Boomtown Rats are among the great voices of the British punk and new wave era, formed in Dublin in 1975 around Bob Geldof. With songs like "Rat Trap" and the worldwide hit "I Don't Like Mondays," they made music history—biting, melodic, and socially critical. After a long hiatus, they returned in 2013 and have since proven that taking a stand is timeless. Their current chapter combines classics with fresh energy, especially for their 50th anniversary. At Wacken, on August 1st 2025, they brought their rebellious mix of rock, punk, and new wave to the stage, as a reminder that good protest always needs a damn strong chorus. Setlist: "Rat Trap", "(I Never Loved) Eva Braun", "Like Clockwork", "Neon Heart", "(She's Gonna) Do You In", "Someone's Looking at You", "I Don't Like Mondays", "Against the World", "She's So Modern", "Diamond Smiles", "The Boomtown Rats"

Beyond Survival

BEYOND SURVIVAL shines a light on the "Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act," a ground-breaking law that allows sentencing courts to consider the nuanced impact of abuse that contributed to a crime, providing for an alternative to mandatory minimums that perpetuate cycles of criminalization. Featuring survivors freed under the DVSJA law, survivors denied resentencing, campaign leaders, legislators, judges, and activists who spent 10 years advocating for and enacting the law in NY State, the film offers a powerful and consequential lens on the connection that must be made between domestic violence and criminal violence.
