Wanting to somehow get closer to her, he arranges a false interview with her and approaches her. He goes into her home saying that he plans to introduce her to her home, and installs a wiretapping device to spy on her. He even copies his girlfriend's key. And while she is away, he goes up to her and indulges in masturbation while surrounded by her underwear, becoming a complete stalker. One day, a threatening voice came through the wiretapping device that the man had set up...

She meets her childhood friend, Chiharu, at a company interview as the last chance. She tells her that their mutual friend Iwata is in a mental hospital. Ayumi is disappointed to hear that her boyfriend Takuya, who lives with her, is working at the end of the year and beginning of the new year, but she receives the results of the exam. Meanwhile, Chiharu gives Iwata a sketchbook that she was given before she was hospitalised, with a gift in return. It's not all good, but it's not all bad either. The film is a series of episodes that subtly capture the reality of life. The film digests a timely topic without losing its newsworthiness and makes it a film that everyone can relate to.

All that is left behind after it has disappeared is quiet. In the end I feel there hasn't been enough time to play. I want to say good-bye to this irrepressible feeling right around now though. After the color, the shape and the words have disappeared what will be left? Perhaps that is the tragedy of the twentieth century.

It is the golden age of Hollywood, in the latter half of the 1930s. One day, the writer Eliott Walker makes a visit to Global Studios, a major cinema company. He is the author of "Triumphal Song of Youth", the best-seller which swept over the jazz age to become the representative novel of the 1920s. He received millions of dollars in royalties for this novel which was based on the story of his wife, but he squandered it all. As a result his wife had a nervous breakdown and was admitted to hospital, leading Eliott to indulge in drinking. Now, Eliott is forgotten.

Futaro, now 14 years old, is an only boy. His mother, an actress, raised him on her own. She herself is innocent, just like a child. It seems almost incredible to Futaro that she was brought him up by her self. One day, in the garden, Futaro seems a man dressed like a samurai. He must be one of mother’s actor friends, Futaro thinks, but then he resembles Futaro’s father. The stranger is called Kusanojo. He was a true samurai and now he is a true ghost. Strangely, Kusanojo seems to have forgotten the fact that he is a ghost. A strange life of 3 people with Futaro, his mother and his father who is a ghost starts.
This omnibus of four episodes depicts the daily life of Fukuda and her friends. In "Sunday", Mr Fukuda receives crabs from his parents' house and invites his friends over for a crab casserole. In "Piece", Mr Fukuda breaks his friend's precious teacup. In 'Badminton', Mr Fukuda prepares to move house and his friends come over to play badminton with a racket he once threw away. 'An Ordinary Day', in which a friend comes to visit Ms Fukuda's room and they eat sweets and drink tea together. All of these stories are told in a simple, everyday tone, but the temperature of the communication between Ms Fukuda and her friends slowly and surely warms the feelings of the viewer.
