Modern Love Tokyo: Kare ga Kanaderu Futari no Shirabe was released as part of Amazon Studios' Modern Love Tokyo anthology series. It is the only animated episode featured in the live-action series.

Satoshi loses his eyesight completely at the age of 9 despite numerous surgeries, but grows up with cheerful spirit thanks to his mother Reiko’s unconditional love. Surrounded by affection and friendship at high school, Satoshi’s future seems bright until one day his family realizes that he is losing his hearing as well. Determined to never give up, Reiko tries everything she can to give him hope.

Sakota Yui is a senior high school student living in a seaside town. Her parents own a beauty salon and she dreams of going to the big city for college to learn art. One day, Yui sees her father heading to a funeral home. She follows him and finds out that her father is working a job where he listens to the bereaved family and sets the deceased's hair before the coffin is laid to rest, which is called "Ending Cut".

Hissatsu Shigotonin 2022 is a continuation of the Hissatsu Shigotonin series. This was the SP released in 2022.

Miyamatsu, who works as a cable-car operator, is also a film extra. Through his different characters he has been living the life of a stranger, only playing that part. Finally he comes face to face with his own life, the one he had lost.

Sugai works as a driver at a chauffeur service company at night. On the night of a full moon weekend, he is told to pair up with a newcomer Kariya. Kariya is a mysterious young guy who gives a silly quiz to Sugai while they work. Sometime later, a drag queen comes to the office and asks for Sugai, saying that someone is trying to kill him. Sugai actually has a past that he could never forget. His colleague tells him that on the night of a full moon weekend something bad would happen...

Twenty-five-year-old Momo has friends. Her parents live some distance away, but they sometimes get together to dine out. She dates an acceptable guy, and they share drinks at home. She apologizes to unreasonable clients over the phone at work and hones her ability to keep things civil with coworkers at drinks after work. This perfectly ordinary life means Momo doesn't immediately notice a nagging feeling: "I want to die." For her, it's a phrase she must never say aloud. One summer, unable to bear the thought of the coming Monday, Momo takes a day off from work. She begins to visit other people who struggle with thoughts of suicide, but have discovered alternatives and choose to live instead. She connects with these "Papagenos" through social media. Over the course of her difficult journey, Momo herself begins to discover other choices beyond death.

Sakamoto Chika, who works for a real estate company in Kagoshima, is having a hard time growing at work and is unable to respond to the proposal from her boyfriend. One day, Tsumura Kojiro comes to the real estate company looking for a house. Kojiro says he has no connection to Kagoshima. Tomoka is excited and introduces him to an apartment with a view of Mount Sakurajima, which is her top recommendation. However, Kojiro suddenly says, "I want a house where I can't see Sakurajima."

At the strong insistence of his father, Ushimatsu Segawa conceals his origins from a “buraku” area of low-class “untouchables,” leaving his hometown to serve as an elementary school teacher where he excels and is loved by his students. But he constantly struggles with the secret of his low-birth status and is disturbed by all of the discrimination levelled upon his class. It prevents him from pursuing a romance with Shiho, whom he meets at the temple where he resides, but who descends from a samurai family.

Tomiko, a middle-aged woman, waits patiently for her husband, who disappeared thirty years ago, to return. She lives alone in a declining fishing village, and continues to search tirelessly for her husband. One day she meets Nami, whose husband has also disappeared.

Satomi leaves her job after a bad break up and on the way home she she falls in love with a Shiba Inu puppy, Ku-chan. She stay at home for a bit but when she tries to return to work, the puppy cries all day. Ku-chan is then diagnosed with separation anxiety at the vet.

Saki, a lawyer, gets into a waiting cab to go to the airport. But the driver of the cab was her sister Satomi, who had been waiting for her, and against her sister's wishes, drove her to the hospital where her mother was in critical condition.

Saki, a high school girl who always skips classes, works part-time as a life adviser.

Isono Sae is an office lady in Showa 63 (1988), who has difficulty living during the economic bubble when everything became expensive. Somehow, Sae wanders into the parallel world of “Reiwa” and decides to use Showa songs which she dislikes, as a weapon to change the world where human relationships are weak.

Maika, a pregnant woman, is running along a farm road at night with nothing but her clothes on her back. On her way home, Asami visits a young local reporter, Mr. Arahata, to ask him to write a newspaper article about a festival in the shopping arcade, and on her way home she meets a talented councilor, Mr. Muto, who used to be a Sentai hero.

Shinjiro, who runs a humble detective agency using a coffee shop in a certain town as his office, gets into trouble at a dark gambling den and is forced to take on a troublesome job by Kyoichi, an executive of the Kasahara clan, a yakuza gang he knows well. The task is to investigate an arson case that is suspected to involve the Chinese mafia Barretto, with whom the Kasahara-gumi has a rival gang. In addition, Shinjiro is asked by Michiko, whose Filipino parents were deported in the past, to search for her best friend, a Kurdish woman who mysteriously disappeared. However, as he pursues the two cases, he finds himself caught up in a war between two huge underworld organizations.

Shiori, a woman discriminated because of her past in a motorcycle gang, becomes a driver for sex-workers.

Kotani Zenzaemon, a ronin who has a side job making brushes in a tenement house in the back alley, is watching Omine, who lives with him, from Kichizo, a resident of the same tenement house and a boatman. is asked to Kichizo and Mine have eloped and got married, but she feels empty in her boring daily life, and she wants to take a break by crossing the bridge over the river. On the other hand, Kichizo forbids him from crossing the bridge, fearing that his whereabouts will be known to others. Zenzaemon superimposes the appearance of these two people on the appearance of his former self and his wife, whom he killed himself.
