Nerea is a girl who lives with her mother in a city where she hasn't made many friends yet. In order for Nerea to meet people her age and get out of her four walls, her mother convinces her to go with a group of young neighbors to spend a weekend in the Sierra. The premiere of Benjamin Britten's Billy Budd in Madrid is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the Teatro Real's bicentennial celebrations. Its magnificent libretto, based on the novel of the same name by Herman Melville, tells the story of the sailor Billy Budd: a handsome, loyal, generous, strong, naive, and kind young man whose beauty and personality drive the ship's master-at-arms mad. Unable to control the situation, the master crucifies the naive young man without mercy. This new production by the Teatro Real is being presented for the first time in Madrid, in co-production with the Opéra national de Paris, under the direction of Deborah Warner, one of the great names in stage direction today.

Denunciations and wishes of this people who have suffered a hard exile are verbalized. In parallel, the author is interviewing, listening, sharing and designing an ingenuity that he is building to exploit the mines. The melphas (costume of the Sahrawi woman) make up the sail that moves the wheels that trace with phosphate powder the path with the word FREE and end up exploiting the mine, to show the inhuman damage it cause. A call for peoples to sign demining protocols urgently.

It is a symmetrical film, situated between documentary and fiction, cinema and video, the feminine and the masculine. It speaks of the shared space between a woman devastated by her illness and an astronaut determined to take part in the first crewed mission to Mars. The film shows how their lives traverse a space that preserves, in a way, a sense of symmetry. Both speak with the filmmaker, who attempts to explore the limits of the human being—and her own limitations when making a film.

During this time, John saw his dream frustrated and was forced to seek refuge at his own farm under the protection of the clergy. The dowry of his daughter Isabel becomes his last chance to make his dream come true, as he negotiates with Geronimo and Julian, sellers of coffee plants and slaves, respectively. In the midst of the beauty and hostility of the jungle, a story of love and betrayal emerges, framing the arrival of coffee to Chiapas.
