To clarify the situation, an irresistible security officer is sent to Jim. Splendor

Splendor is the name of an old movie theater managed by Jordan (Mastroianni), who inherited it from his father. The theater is in decay and only generates debts and trouble, but Jordan gets aid in his almost quixotian quest from projectionist Luigi (Troisi) and ushurette Chantale (Vlady). However, Jordan is finally forced to sell the Splendor to businessman Lo Fazio (Piperno), which plans to transform it in some kind of furniture store. When Jordan leaves the theater for the last time (the very first scene), he recalls the glorious days of Splendor and movies in general.

Working the Streets

A Neopolitan hustler named Antonello is living his life in Torino. He turns tricks as a transvestite, using the name Rosatigre, or more commonly, Rosa. His closest pal is Wanda, who exercises the same “profession” and, being his best friend, is also the incarnation of his feminine alter ego. While we watch the two of them hanging out on the street, sweet and carefree as the young Moll Flanders, we eavesdrop on their exchange of confidences and learn the secret details of their private lives. Wanda could have been a teacher but she preferred the street, where she can indulge her sentimental, dreamy nature in sighing over the "Americano" she once met in Naples, for whom she still carries a torch.

Confession – How I Found Out I Wouldn't Make the Revolution

This is the story of an eternal childhood from which springs the shape and meaning of all to come. Where are you? Where am I? Why are we here? How did everything change, and we never noticed? Time has passed, and no one will come again to shout outside my window. And in this darkness that seems to surround everything, we realize the slightest sign would have been enough: a gesture, a song, a word, a kiss, one’s presence. It would have been simple, if our goodwill had become doing good.
