When Koichi Takahasi (Miutani) is transferred from Tokyo to a small village in Iwate Prefecture, they set up hoe in a two-hundred year-old farmhouse. Koichi takes note of the split in the family but finds himself struggling at his new job. Thankfully the house has Zashiki Warashi (yokai) living there who will unite them with their antics. Judging by the poster these antics won’t be terrifying.

Taking place in between Shinkenger Acts 22 and 23, the Shinkengers battle the newly revived Kusare Gedoushu Aburame Manpuku and his army for three days. The wounded and tired Shinkengers nearly lose, had the Kusare Gedoushu not needed to regain energy by soaking in the Sanzu River. As police suddenly move to arrest Mita (Shun Sugata), Himuro and Sahara find it suspicious that attention shifts from Kyowakai to the Marugami-kai following Mikawa’s (Yasuhiro Arai) appointment as deputy commissioner. Sahara struggles to investigate Mikawa due to his ties to the powerful Yoshioka family. Meanwhile, suspecting religion is linked to an impending terror plot, Himuro begins reaching out to those connected to the World Kamome Church.

Himuro (Yasukaze Motomiya), wakagashira assistant of Kyowakai, and Tamura (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) eliminate Fukumoto, chairman of the West Japan Mutsumikai, in a chaotic firefight. In the east, Takishima retires as Marugami-kai chairman and Mita becomes second chairman, leaving Kyowakai and Marugami-kai as the two dominant forces. Munakata (Takanori Kikuchi), assistant to the Marugami-kai chairman, is released from prison and reunited with Kawatani and Himuro, recalling their shared past. As Kyowakai restructures, Kawatani delivers a shocking message to Himuro.

Himuro (Yasukaze Motomiya), who joined Kyowakai, steadily rose through the ranks with his calm and clear mind. Tamura (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi) was also released from prison and Ryuseikai was thought to gain even more power. At that time, there is an internal split in Kyowakai as a whole, caused by an unusual executive appointment, and Himuro and others get caught in the vortex. After the conflict, the leader of the Ueda group, Ueda (Okazaki Jiro) and other gang members withdrew from Kyowakai, create a new organization called Shintokai in Kyoto, and attack Kyowakai executives.

Due to the Marukami-kai's summit operation, the Kyowa-kai, which had its president Kawatani and other executives arrested, was in an unprecedented state of turmoil. Tatsumi of the Marukami-kai is isolated from the Marukami-kai and is chased away by the Kyowa-kai and the Marukami-kai.
