"India" developed out of my three journeys to Pune in 2001, 2002 and 2004. I arrived in a forgein country, and felt surprisingly familiar in the foreign. There in the streets, walking among the people, surrounded by their movements, their gestures, by the colors, the light, the beauty. Small things awakened my attention, sometimes only a short glimpse, a hand movement, the color of a sari, a temple hidden in a courtyard. It was like a long hot bath that I took there in Pune's streets - something unique and very beautiful.

Bantu is a ten year old boy who lives in a small town and enjoys spending time with his teenage friend Avneesh, who flies kites with the youngster and lets him tag along as he works on his motorcycle and explores the village. As Bantu becomes the go-between for the two would-be lovers, he learns to appreciate "Mrityu"'s beauty and grace, and he begins to share his friend's infatuation with her.

Few twists of events happen and the bomb also fails to explode on time. Meanwhile, both the stranger and Gilli get to know each other and in no time, they fall in love with each other though they don't admit it. what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Siddharth Roy gets discharged from jail, and with his lawyer's assistance, returns to his rental flat in Mumbai and is asked to consider a divorce settlement from his wife, Maya. He then sets about creating chaos and division to the bewildered inhabitants, into creating a oppostion to Lord Indra, with hilarious and unpredictable results.
