Trou de Fer

For canyoning enthusiasts, the Trou de Fer on Reunion Island is a must-see, and not just for the faint-hearted. The first complete descent of the canyon, with a 1,000-meter drop, was made by Thierry Krattinger, Stéphane Girard, and Jean-Claude Dobrilla in 1990. Filming took place in very difficult conditions: an aquatic atmosphere, a dramatic void, and mediocre rock in the 300-meter waterfall. The documentary Trou de Fer was selected for competition at the Trento Film Festival in 1992.

Zena postpones her trip to speak with Vladimir and, once he is free to travel, they begin to try and explore his information. Faire kiffer les anges

From the Bronx to the Minguettes, in the underground passages of the inner city and working-class suburbs, a new artistic movement of rebellion has appeared over the past 15 years : "hip hop", with its tagging, rap and dance providing and outlet for an entire generation anxious to proclaim : "I exist !". Who are the dancers of this movement ? What are their experiences, their anger, their dreams, their hopes ? How is it that an entire generation – which sees itself as "burned" – identifies with the special energy of this youth culture ? What is the source of this unbridled beauty and body language which has moved form the street to the stage, upsetting all the codes of contemporary dance ? A journey of initiation to meet the heroes of this movement and give the floor to all those who normally are not heard except through the distorting prism of the media every time and inner city explodes.

En attendant la neige

En Attendant la Neige is a parody of violence. Paco Sanchez and Dede Gallice are childhood friends who share a passion for karate. When forced to face Dede in a decisive match, Paco refuses to fight his best friend. Dede becomes the champion by default, but he cannot get over the bitterness of this inglorious victory. Paco moves on with his life. Unjustly accused of a robbery and chased by his employer, Dede unwillingly drags his wife Claire and Paco into a frantic nocturnal escape through Paris. Emotions culminate during an apocalyptic game where imagination and reality blend. The film tries to reflect certain social questions of our time using common images.

Der Duft des Geldes

In Protestant Zurich, people with money avoid flaunting it. Wealth fascinates, but it also arouses jealousy. Four wealthy Zurichers are in search of happiness: one man unexpectedly inherits a large sum of money; he tells no one about it and indulges in a luxury: he finally takes the time to live. For religious reasons, a woman from an old Zurich family renounces her possessions and inheritance. A "self-made" entrepreneur is constantly expanding his international business and living the good life. A welfare recipient relives, with mixed feelings, the days when money flowed freely. For years, he has been fighting a bank to repossess his fortune.
