The director herself characterizes the work by questioning its narrative form: "is it the story of a film, or the film of a story?". It's a reflection on what has happened and what remained unsaid. The central theme is solitude, depicting an individual positioned "in the corner of a screen within an immutable society of terror"

Three zebras, their graphics and their environment generate the frames of this film, which, once projected, is neither a presentation of the zebras, nor a continuity of movement, but a succession of isolated effects which seem random, even though they are generated by a fully structured photographic picture. The zebras are not the film (they are not seen in the projected film), but they are the structure of the film, that is to say its score (the succession of frames).

To make ARDON, Jean-Jacques Jouët placed a transparent window in front of the camera lens, on which he drew a rectangular frame. The delimited space has the proportions of a 16mm film frame. A frozen lake is framed through this device. The extreme fixity of the frozen photogram is gradually disturbed by changes in focal length.

Jordan 1970: Like a political tract, the film exalts the Palestinian revolution through the role of the combattants, women, workers and children. Revolutionary songs and poems punctuate the people's struggle for liberation. This film defends a cause that was very little supported at that time. 'Biladi, une révolution' is one of the very first (if not the first) films on the issue.

Ferdinand lives in a universe cluttered with symbols. "A" seems more attached to a very structured daily life. When "A" meets Ferdinand, the whole balance he lives in will crumble. First an "aesthetic" attraction which will turn into desire will reveal to him his true image. He will then switch into what he called "madness", unreason. Ferdinand's world is, on the contrary, unimaginable, because outside of all morality, of all Manichaeism. It is a "revealed" world because his homosexuality has transformed his view of things. Will the relationship established between Ferdinand and "A" be viable? Will there be a necessity of death, or a possibility of life?

In 1975, as a Bicentennial special, one thousand American history buffs put on period uniforms and re-enacted the 1775 march of General Benedict Arnold's troops into Québec. This short film takes a page of our history which has, perhaps, not yet been completely written.
