A fox and a raccoon are thrown out of heaven for their sins and land in Young-gu's village. The fox and the raccoon fight viciously all night because only one of them can return to heaven alive. But the raccoon is outwitted by the fox and is injured severely. The raccoon, now transformed into a pretty young woman, is found unconscious in front of Young-gu's house. Young-gu's parents take her in as Young-gu's bride. But the fox has turned into a Hong Kong Granny Ghost and is killing children to drink their blood and eating their livers. Young-gu and the raccoon team up to fight the fox and the fox finally is killed when a lightening strikes its tail s only weak point. The raccoon bids farewell to Young-gu and ascends to heaven on a rope.

In a case of mistaken identities an unemployed thug (Yang-gu), and a doctor (Ki-min) on a career fast track; are mistaken for one another after an accident. Ki-min is thought to be murder suspect Yang-gu, and must go on the run. The thug Yang-gu excels as the Sky Doctor in a small island village. Suji, who was spending her honeymoon at a mountain lodge with her fiancé Jin-wook, is raped by four intruders one after another. Upon getting out of prison, Deok-Bae meets his old buddy Dal-soo, who owns a restaurant. These two have never succeeded in life, and are constantly in and out of prison. Two others who happen to be in the same boat as Deok-Bae and Dal-Soo are ex-convicts. They have threatened to commit suicide unless traffic and unemployment issues are resolved. They are also unlucky enough to have been spotted at the scene of a crime. While these four are making big plans for their first success, the city becomes wrapped up in a serial murder case. In the meantime, an investigating team of veteran cops is formed in order to solve this case.

A savage look at food and sex, helms this black comedy about Japan's sizable and often beleaguered Korean-Japanese community. Motomi Hayashi (Eri Yu), a producer who is thoroughly dedicated to her career, returns to her abode to discover that her porn star sister (Ichio Matsuda) is going to make a film about her family's first reunion in 20 years. Motomi is less than thrilled with the prospect, seeing as all is not well at the Hayashi household. Motomi's father recently got canned from his longtime job at a Pachinko parlor, while her mother secretly plans to mortgage the house to finance her affair with a younger lover. Motomi grows more uneasy when she learns that the porn director in charge of the undertaking is known for mixing fact with fantasy.

Buzz Salon which is run by Cho is known for its mysterious ambience. Gi-hyuk, one of Cho's best customers, falls for Hae-joo, a hostess at Buzz. Cho uses Hae-joo to kill gangsters who harass him with money he owes them. When Gi-hyuk discovers that Hae-joo is biologically male, he feels betrayed and becomes disillusioned. He leaves her for good. Hae-joo is able to get her transgender operation in return for the assassinations and goes in search of Gi-hyuk. She returns to Gi-hyuk, as a new person, calling herself Yoo-jung. She also begins to take revenge on the thugs who abused her in the past.

At the seaside, after one final plea for mercy, He-gu is shot dead by Sung-chul, who walks away silently.

This film depicts the passion and frustration of young people who dream of becoming popular rock musicians. Dohyun neglects his studies because he is only interested in one thing - rock music. He comes to Seoul to work and ente rs a band. he meets his future manager, Jeewoo, and makes his debut as a singer. However, the production of his first album is cancelled because it is considered 'not commercial' enough. Dohyun returns to his hometown, depressed. Jeewo, however, finds him and helps him open his first gig after weeks of practice. The gig turns out to be a complete failure. Dohyun and his friends sing in the middle of the street with pedestrians as their spectators. The film ends with Dohyun frustrated over his unsuccessful career as a rock musician.

In the midst of all this, Jin-kyung schemes to get pregnant with Young-sung's child, and Sang-gi is convinced that he is close to realizing his dream of becoming a film director. Little do they know that Young-sung's clairvoyance is not permanent.

Kang-wook, a law student at Seoul National University, finds himself in a tight spot financially after losing contact with his family in North Korea. He sells his own blood at a hospital to make ends meet, and there he meets and grows close to nurse Jin-young. Meanwhile, Kang-wook and Jin-young marry with the blessings of Professor Park and their friends, while Kang-wook's friend Do-hyeon struggles to hide his feelings for Jin-young. Their sweet days together come to an end with the outbreak of the Korean War, separating them. Jin-young, unable to wait for Kang-wook any longer, decides to flee the war with Do-hyeon. Kang-wook, hiding at Yoon-ae's house, is eventually arrested by Ki-yong and the leftists, who had been freed from prison.
