Vingt mille lieux sous la mère

It's not a story. Nothing happens. Literally, there are no characters. It's the story of an absence of story. The non-story of a mother and son, a non-mother and non-son, who never meet. They know each other. They socialize. But they don't meet. It's the story of a meeting that doesn't happen. A non-meeting that lasts a lifetime. There's the mother and the son. Two people who sometimes cross paths. When they are in each other's presence, they are not together. They don't know how to be together. They haven't learned to be. When they are in each other's presence, they wait for it to pass. It's not a mother and son. It's a man and a woman who find time long. They're here because it's supposed to be a mother's job to spend time with her son. It's a man and a woman waiting on a station platform for a train that's never coming.

Zorro, la légende d’El Fuerte

‘In the small town of El Fuerte, nestled in the heart of the Mexican state of Sinaloa, an ancient and mysterious legend persists: Don Diego de la Vega, also known as Zorro, was born in one of the town's hotels. This story has divided the town's inhabitants, with some defending it and others questioning it. Each of them has their own version of the facts, a personal vision of what Zorro brought to the Mexican people. As the stories and testimonies unfold, the line between reality and myth becomes blurred. This film is an investigation into the truth, if it exists at all.

Mer intérieure

"Mer intérieure" is a reflection on perception, where we follow Jamila and Robert, a couple of high-level athletes with visual impairments, during a sea trip on their sailboat. This film explores their unique experience of navigation. The color grading oscillating between blue and red, creates a visual language that moves away from usual conventions, evoking their inner resonances. The soundtrack, composed by Meryll Ampe, combines sounds recorded at sea with repetitive music. This colorimetric and sound treatment creates an atmosphere inviting to feel the nuances of perception at sea.
