After there is a mishap at a mine that causing many to die or become injured, Master Chien decides to add insult to injury by not paying out any funds to the survivors of the victims to keep costs down. Many of the townspeople try to get Master Chien to change his mind, but Master Chien does not relent on his decision. The townspeople then ask the Iron Fist King, Chuang Yang, to pay Master Chien a visit and get him to change his mind. After the Iron Fist King shows up at Master Chien’s and defeats his top fighter, Chi Hung, Master Chien decides to comply with the townspeople’s wishes, but little does everybody know that Master Chien has a backup plan that will cause everybody to suffer the consequences and that includes his own self.

The Eight Masters

The complicated story involves the military conquest of a peaceful island-nation by an evil despot and his sorcerer ally. His victory leaves the island's three heroic protectors dead, but, their young children are hidden away to grow to adulthood with different identities, unaware of their heritage, in hope that, in time, they might challenge and defeat the evil ruler. The charming Polly Kuan stars as one of these children who has been adopted by the conquerer himself, initially as an insult to the defeated hero, later as his protégé.

Morning Fog

In "Morning Fog", Brigitte Lin plays Tu Hsiao Meng, a spirited young woman who's had an unenviable life full of hard knocks. The daughter of a single parent, Hsiao Meng had to give up school and enter the work force to make ends meet. She finds a job as a nursemaid to an invalid boy, and charms everyone around her with her gorgeous smile and agreeable personality. But not everyone is a fan of Hsiao Meng. She makes an enemy out of Shih Mei Ni, who happens to be Hsiao Meng's rival for the affections of Tai Ya Luen (Chin Han). She's also wealthy and higher in station than Hsiao Meng, which is yet another strike against the lovely, but lower class working girl. Can Hsiao Meng rise above her situation and triumph over the odds?
