This film documents a performance by Taku Furusawa, acting as the Aoyama Outpost of the Kingdom of Lilliput under the influence of Matsuzawa associate Shō Kazakura. Furusawa also acted in the underground theatre group Theater Yakōkan (Night Theater), which had ties with Matsuzawa as well, and in his later years was active under the name Kubikukuri Takuzō, but this film is a valuable document of his early convulsive performance.

Osen and her husband Bunzō plot to kill Yahachirō for his money, strangling him and tossing his body into the river. But one night, Yahachirō reappears, his face twisted into a monstrous form…

Writes Matsumoto, "I used the Erekutoro Karapurosesu (Electro Color Processor), which is mainly used in the field of medicine and engineering, to create moving image textures Metastasis, I was interested in layering images of a simple object and its electronically processed abstraction. The electronic abstract image is manipulated in a certain rhythm, depicting an organic process."

Anno directed and also appeared in this short, live-action film when he was in the third year at high school. Starring Akimasa Nakamura, the student council president, it was made as the Art Club’s exhibit for the school festival. The film condenses his favorite elements, makes full use of effects such as stop motion and film scratching, and the images that are spontaneously and freely constructed solely by his senses represents the starting point of Anno’s special effects live action films. The adapted version which was re-edited by Anno in 2005 is screened.

Experimental film by Toshio Matsumoto created for the 1970 world's fair, Expo '70 in Osaka. The film was made up of multiple projections onto the inside of the Textile Pavilion, a dome with an interior designed by Yokoo Tadanori, and featured a 57-channel music score by Joji Yuasa.

A psychedelic film using four projectors. The film comprises of thirteen scenes, including a woman and man shot from the front. Shot frame-by-frame, printed onto transparent cel sheets and layered on top of one anther, the halftone dots from reprographics expand and contract to create a moiré effect.

There's more to picture than meets the eye in this journey into oriental metaphysical imagery. Starting (in a very Christian manner) with the Word, the film draws an explosion of visible forms, as if a sign of the shattering of shapes in the mundane world. But time is cyclical, of course, and what was once a multitude of sensible realities must eventually return to the Word and, finally, to sheer Color. (Sound of Eye)

The sea around Minamata was heavily polluted with mercury during the 1950s and 1960s from the Chisso Corporation's chemical factory. This highly toxic chemical bioaccumulated in shellfish and fish in the Yatsushiro Sea which, when eaten by the local populace, gave rise to Minamata disease. The disease was responsible for the deaths and disabling of thousands of residents, all around the Yatsushiro Sea. The marine ecosystem was also extensively damaged.

A kaleidoskopic image of Andy Warhol, presumably found footage from some interview, is slowed down and played over sudden pangs of screeching white noise. Warhol's own distorted, delayed, voice guides us through the gaseous hallucination.
