Castel Volturno, about thirty kilometers from Naples. It is September 18, 2008. A group of Camorra members burst into a tailor's shop run by African immigrants. They fire a hundred bullets indiscriminately, killing six young black men and seriously wounding another. Yussouf, a young immigrant, decided that same evening to settle the score with his uncle Moses. The man who convinced him to come to Italy. He had promised him a future as an honest craftsman but instead turned him into the cynical manager of a million-dollar cocaine ring. Entangled in their story are another African boy, Germain, who happened to be at the scene of the massacre; his girlfriend Asetù, who sings a Miriam Makeba song in public that same evening; and Suad, a prostitute whom Yussouf dreams of rescuing from her pimps.

Or two viatica: the testamentary document written by Pasolini not long before his death (Le vide du pouvoir en Italie), which metaphorically communicated his political despair about the “disappearance of the fireflies”, and that of Georges Didi-Huberman (2009), which, on the contrary, refers to their “survival”. Vincent Dieutre travels across the far south of Europe in search of today’s “fireflies” who invent a political life on a daily basis.

Handbook of Movie Theaters’ History is a documentary about the history, the development in the present days and the future of movie theaters in the city of Turin, Italy. It mixes the documentary language with comedy and fiction, and is enriched by interviews to some of the most important voices of Turin cinematography. The film follows the evolution of movie theaters by enlightening its main milestones: the pre-cinema experiences in the late 19th Century, the colossals and the movie cathedrals of the silent era, the arthouse theaters, the National Museum of Cinema, the Torino Film Festival, the movie theaters system today and the main hypothesis about its future.

Once she can save them by fabricating that a child has cholera, with greater risk of contamination if she is dead. – When M understands that he cannot win N's love, he smuggles both N and S out of the country. A compelling reconstruction of the adventurous life and works of explorer, filmmaker, and photographer Father Alberto Maria De Agostini (1883-1960). At the age of 26, he left a small village in Piedmont to become a missionary in South America. In 1910, he reached Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, which were still largely unexplored. He climbed mountains, discovered fjords and glaciers, and gave them names. Faced with the anguish and pain of the disappearance of the last Indios, he entrusted his testimony to the images captured on his photographic plates or on the frames of his film 'Terre Magellaniche'.
