General Mosconi is a small town in the North of Argentina, rich with oil and gas. 1993 the state owned enterprise, YPF, that gave work, health care and education to the whole region, was privatised. The unemployment rate climbed to 70 percent, the whole infrastructure system collapsed. The town is an example for what is today understood as the loss of state and politics.

To grow old in Rivera is to grow old on the border. The protagonists of this documentary tell us in Portuguese as well as in Spanish about their lives far from the bustle of the capital city. In the process of becoming Marilyn Monroe, Magaly suffers an identity crisis that mimics the life of the mythical blonde.

A philosophical allegory regarding the human situation and the mystery of life. The story focuses on the fictional Segismundo, Prince of Poland, who has been imprisoned in a tower by his father, King Basilio, following a dire prophecy that the prince would bring disaster to the country and death to the King. Basilio briefly frees Segismundo, but when the prince goes on a rampage, the king imprisons him again, persuading him that it was all a dream.

Noelia lives in a suburb of Barcelona with no free time: at night she works at a gas station, during the day she distributes advertisements in doorways. Two documentary makers meet again, through a TV news show, with a friend from their youth, Camilo Mejía, the first United States soldier to fight in the Iraq War, who after being declared a deserter by the military court spent a year in prison. "Why are we here? Do we have a right to do this? Are we, at least, protecting ourselves?" The documentary finds in Mejía, an antiwar activist presently living in Miami, a reflection about the war experience.
