A bloodthirsty vampire satisfying his most odious desires.

Biquefarre is a small farm in Aveyron. The changing economics of farming lead Raoul, in late middle age, to decide to sell and move to Toulouse. At least two neighboring farmers want to buy Biquefarre: Lucien and the young Marcel. Behind the scenes, Henri, whose brother is Marcel's father and who is also Lucien's brother-in-law, negotiates with Raoul so that Marcel's father can secretly sweeten Marcel's offer. Will dad and uncle succeed? In the background is the hard daily work of farming: milking cows, harvesting at night, and finding help when a farmer falls ill. Progress brings challenges: polluted water, factory farms, and skyrocketing land prices.

This comedy-drama by first-time director and scripter Jean-Luc Trotignant details the exploits of a crass, low-life family. Achille Pinglard (Jean-Luc Bideau) is a factory foreman and his wife Ginette (Michele Brousse) works in a porno theater. Together, they are driving their daughter up the wall. She vents her feelings in her private diary, which her parents often expropriate for their own use. Meanwhile, the son in the family finds himself without a room after his parents rent it out to someone else, and the grandmother is a demented alcoholic invalid.

For him, it is not a question of superficially aping the customs of the Maori, but of stripping his own culture in mind to better feel that of others. It is exoticism in the purest sense of the term, as Baudelaire understood it, an art of correspondences between the most diverse things. This film from the human fascination with immortalié stone, described by Roger Caillois in his book STONES. A cult of the stone has a long history in Asian countries like China and Japan. Moving from the mountain to the sea, the film unfolds like a dream incantatory which is the theme: In China, a mountain of Tséchouan, it is said that there was once a stone that had children. Beyond their age difference and the distance between them, those who dream of one stone are in constant contact. Fascinated by the same stone, their thoughts, their gestures, their desires end up merging. One day they will be reunited in a garden called the Garden of the ages. It describes the garden as the meeting in the same place and the same time the four seasons of life: the birth of spring, summer childhood, fall of man becomes an adult, the old man winter. This garden is both in and out, like a large house containing its own garden.

The film portrays six women oyster farmers in the Marennes-Oleron Bay (Charentes-Maritimes). It explores their working and living conditions, the hardships of the profession, the division of tasks between men and women and the professional status of female farmers. Several women in the oyster-farming bay form a professional association.

Claude, 30, film producer, falls in love with 20-year-old Grendy, to whom he gave the lead role in his latest film. One day, he surprises Grendy in the arms of another man. He shoots the lover and, after burning his car, runs away at random. He takes refuge on a barge where Chantal and Carla live. He takes them hostages. But little by little, Claude feels a certain attraction for Chantal. The film concerns a group of disparate types who support themselves by running guns to the Arabs. On the surface, it would seem that these characters are bad guys. In fact, the guns are to be used by a resistance group who hope to continue shipping oil to the West, despite the despotic curbs imposed upon fuel shipments by their leaders.

In this film that sends up the foibles of filmmaking, a standard crew of actors, stage-hands, director, writers, producers, and others are gathered for the filming of a 45-second automobile commercial. Each role embodies an archetype (the harried director who has a deadline to meet, the Scrooge production manager who has a budget to meet, and the writers who are above these mundane concerns), and these personalities drive the working actors over the edge until they decide to lock them up and do their own thing -- happiness can be just around the corner if you are in the driver's seat. Hopefully, the actors will be able to bow out before the police catch on to the situation.

His first documentary provides a glimpse of three Filipino painters residing in Europe: Nena Saguil, Macario Vitalis, and Ofelia Gelvezon-Tequi. The featured artists commentate on their daily practices as artists and migrants, all uniting at the end for an intimate gathering.

Three generations, the Chic, the Bumpkin and the New confront in a bourgeois family in Paris.

The 16th short film as part of the Magica series dealing with pre-cinema. Mr Seymour, the hero of the book by London doctor Mr Paris, shows his invention – the thaumatrope – to a little girl and explains how it works. The superimposition of the images is not perfect, so he invents the use of elastic instead of the usual string. Only by recording the two successive images of the thaumatrope on a title bench can they be viewed perfectly. Numerous examples are shown.

In Marseilles, in a house of correction reserved for teenagers, it is the young Patricia who, by its authority and its force, imposed herself on all her classmates.

Zoe, a young girl with musical interests, works in a hamburger restaurant. She auditions several times to sing in a cabaret but these do not work out because she does not agree to the requests of the owners of the place. After her disappointment, she meets the members of a recently created rock band that is going through a slump of inspiration and popularity. Zoe joins the group and becomes their creative muse, achieving great success with them under the name of Sandy.

A man invites a woman to share his room in a hostel and gradually falls in love with her.

A film crew with a group of young actors arrives at a factory in Lorraine. They shoot a fiction inspired by the real ghostly pace of the factory.

The emotional interplay between an arguing couple, in love but not happy with their relationship, is meant to be the sustaining force in this crime drama with little other action. Thomas (Christophe Malavoy) has been blackmailed into carrying a shipment of explosives in his Peugeot to Egypt, where the devices will be forwarded to guerrillas on Cyprus. He brings his lover Veronique (Victoria Abril) along for the dangerous ride from Switzerland to the south, knowing the explosives can be easily detonated by accident and enemy agents as well as government agents are out to capture him. Both protagonists have a short fuse themselves, and as they separate and then come back together, their final destination looms ever closer in more ways than one.

It was during their childhood that François and Malène became friends. Years later, the two teenagers find themselves. Their parents, moved by their reunion, will help them not to spoil this new chance.

Outtakes from the movie

Chutes de Lacrima Christi is an 95‑minute experimental collage film assembled entirely from unused outtakes of Teo Hernández’s earlier work Lacrima Christi. Co‑created with Gaël Badaud between 1979 and 1980, it repurposes discarded Super 8 color footage into a series of non‑linear vignettes that fuse Christian myth with everyday imagery. Using the “chute” technique—physically gluing scraps of film into new sequences—the film explores the meeting of two cultures, Europe and America, and reveals dreamlike resonances in mundane moments. By reframing offcuts from the Passion tetralogy, Hernández invites viewers to discover hidden narratives and poetic meaning in material that was originally deemed surplus.
