Glory & Freedom

In a not-too-distant future, after centuries of uprisings that divided the old Brazil into new and idiosyncratic nations, a filmmaker travels through the northern and northeastern regions in search of answers for her (and our) historical moment. In this multifaceted and unconventional animated utopian documentary, the boundaries between memory and imagination, the past and the future, blur reality and fiction to question the very concept of a nation and its potential for reinvention.

Woman in Green and Yellow

In a Brazil of colors and contradictions, Iara, a young descendant of indigenous peoples, lives in denial of her origins. Fear of prejudice and violence against indigenous peoples plunges her into a silent melancholy. While her sister Sofia tries to restore her pride in who she is, her encounter with Tainá, a young indigenous woman who carries the strength of her ancestors, awakens in Iara the beginnings of acceptance. Through pain, silence, and awakening, Iara learns that acknowledging her roots is also an act of resistance. A poetic portrait of identity, ancestry, and the strength of the women who sustain Brazil.

Suture: A Study

An experimental, visual, and poetic study about bodies, stitches, and repair. A sensory exploration of fragmentation and reconstruction. The body, real or symbolic, is treated as a surface to be opened, sutured, and reimagined. Using textures, objects, and silent rituals, the film contemplates the tension between vulnerability and resilience, between decay and the desire to mend. It is not about narrative, but about sensation. Not about answers, but about the act of touching what is broken.
