Super Woman

In the form of an investigative report, Super Woman offers a dive into the world of transvestites and transsexuals who, in 1975, brightened up certain Parisian cabarets such as the Carrousel, the Etrier, the Alcazar or Chez Michou... The latter introduces us to two of its stars, Duduche and Fifi, who evokes his encounters with Sylvie Vartan, whom he imitates to perfection. Then an investigator goes to the Carrousel and meets Claudie, Laurence, Peggy, Albane, Griselleda, Maryline and Kristel.

Chronique Des Années Tristes

Here is a film that is, to say the least, singular. A fiction filmed under Giscard, in two farming families, one in Brittany and the other in Languedoc. One sees the Catholic mass and the mass of the television news, one hears the Benedicite and the Internationale, a rural class struggle is played out, daily peasants against the aristos in the middle of a hunt...Chronicle of the Sad Years tells the story of the new forms of subjection suffered by the workers of the land, discovering the perverse effects of the CAP and the growing influence of agribusiness. A film in which the director, Alain Aubert-Dechartre, stages a historical turning point, the forced conversion of peasants into technicians of farms of which they will be the first to be exploited

Algérie Couleurs

"Film shot on the 'bench' from hundreds of photos, buildings, streets, towns unusually colorful for a North Mediterranean eye. The editing was composed on a score because the shots are generally very short, up to two images, and they do not follow each other "cut" or crossed but in "racket". The progression of shots varies from faintly colored recognizable to strongly colored unrecognizable. The soundtrack is composed of Arabic music that gradually turns into free-jazz. » Mannheim Festival, 1973

La confesse

A man jumps off a train and soon after arrives in a sort of dressing room where a mannered individual is copiously putting on make-up. Between the man and this stranger a dialogue is established, the first one telling a story that happened to him with a woman... or rather his quest for a woman, his hesitations, his feelings of hope, joy and anguish. In return, he will only get laconic and disillusioned, ironic, even aggressive answers until he is properly and simply chased away.
