On a street in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Yoshio, a musician bachelor, is drunk. A family’s faith and resilience are tested when their daughter is kidnapped, leading to an intense journey of discovery and justice.

Osaka was the the site of Expo ’70, and among the most memorable elements of the event, standing to this day, is the "Tower of the Sun", a 70-metre-tall sculpture/building envisioned and designed by renowned artist Taro Okamoto, who some call “the Japanese Picasso”. This film is a theatrical adaptation of "TAROMAN", a tokusatsu series re-envisioning Okamoto's most famous pieces as surrealist superheroes and villains, with Ultraman-like TAROMAN, based on the Tower itself, at the forefront of it all.

After killing the policeman who arrested him, drug dealer Zhang Hu flees. Three years later, Zhang Hu's drug gang finds the illegal-truck driver Li Jun and forces him to transport goods for them. Anti-drug captain Tang Xudong succeeds in convincing Li Jun to be an informant with pay as Li Jun needs the money for his wife’s medical treatment, and thus begins his informant operation laden with danger.
