After the brilliant success of her “Mozart y Mambo” project, Sarah Willis is returning to Cuba. This time the Berlin Philharmonic hornist sets out together with the “Havana Lyceum Orchestra” on a musical road trip to showcase the traditional Cuban music, bringing viewers and listeners into even more intense and lively contact with its roots and traditions. With them, the musicians bring a very special commissioned work. Rock Family Trees

More than two decades after it left our screens, BBC Two’s iconic and much-loved music documentary series, Rock Family Trees, is back for a one-off special. The iconic music documentary series returns to examine the real story behind the birth of Britpop and how a handful of like-minded musicians, struggling to find an authentic voice, would pave the way for a revolution in British music. It is an intricately connected story of three of the biggest bands of the 1990s – Suede, Elastica and Blur – and how, for a brief moment in the middle of that decade, they changed British music forever, kickstarting a movement that still reverberates to this day.

Koban Louzoù

A house in the French countryside as a miniature of society: When Audrey arrives, she is confronted with a lecture right away. The landlord tirelessly underlines how progressive he is, and what a unique space he has created outside the urban centres. While his utopia doesn’t seem to leave much space for others, he is surrounded by three other volunteers who work for him. The house isn’t very large so all of them find themselves unable to avoid each other. Starring the remarkable independent filmmaker Virgil Vernier in a blissfully awkward performance, Brieuc Schieb navigates humour, irritation, and intimacy in his meticulously composed first feature – all to face a question not just today’s art world is obsessed with: Who can really bear living in a collective?
