Capitol vs. Capitol

Instant chronicle of the times we are living, with a world and moral order that seems to falter without letting us glimpse what will come, the strength of the film lies in the use of images destined to disappear, poor images, rescued from mobile phones, social networks, Telegram groups, that no one will bother to archive. The film confronts us with two memories: on the one hand, the memory of the day before yesterday, where a spark emerged that caused everything, and on the other, the memory that we captured without protecting it later, without making it accessible.

Fate of Pines

A small village lost in the middle of a vast pine forest in the north of Spain. A place that hides ghosts and does not remember. My family's stone house, locked with three padlocks. During a traditional celebration, the eligible men cut down the tallest, longest, and straightest pine tree and plant it in the village square. My great-grandmother and her daughter were killed in the same spot 70 years earlier. A double femicide, committed in front of everyone, but never spoken of until now.

Lola

Lola is a play about the memory of memory itself. Through the story of a teenager, it recounts the experiences of the Rodal Blanco family during the Civil War and the repression they suffered. Lola was 15 years old when, after the coup d'état of 1936, she saw her family and social world collapse. Without the protection of her mother or father, she was left completely alone with her little sister. They practically lived begging on the streets, and even so, they managed to keep their family alive in prison by sending them packages in the mail.
