Metonimia

The story of a panic attack; of one, no, two hands dancing; of a party that does not fit everyone; of a tramp challenging the divine; of a little girl that aged a bit. The story of everybody, of somebody, or maybe the story of nobody at all, that unfolds under the eyes of an atonic spectator. The fragmented story of the myth of the common man, of their strengths and their weaknesses, of their feelings and their emotions, of their success and thier failure. In a few words, the story of the human contradiction. The story of the steps of the first and last individual, and all of those who walked in the meantime. The human life.

the lucid dream of the last poets

"Just as the body needs nourishment, and not just any, but only the appropriate one, so the psyche needs those images and ideas that correspond to its nature, that is the images aroused by the unconscious. Our imagines are components of our spirit, and if our dream reproduces any representation, it is primarily our representations. All dream creation is subjective, and the dream is a theater in which the dreamer is scene, actor, prompter, director, author, audience and reviewer together. All dream figures have personified traits of the dreamer's personality, and when one observes oneself within, one sees moving images." (Carl Gustav Jung)

A Bastard And Pinochet’s Legacy

The story of Pepe, a young Chilean gay man in his 30s, living in Italy, who returns to his homeland and discovers that his biological father - a man he had never met - is none other than Colonel Rodrigo Retamal, the former head of Chilean police intelligence. He was punished 20 years later with a night in jail. After a moment of deep confusion, Pepe makes the stunning decision to meet his father and confront him.

Che amore potrebbe popolare questo luogo?

During the third edition of the Sicilia Queer Filmfest, held in 2013, one morning of the festival was dedicated to a discussion between some of the guests. Paul Vecchiali, president of the jury for that edition, Vincent Dieutre, Arnold Pasquier, and Cosimo Terlizzi gathered around a table with Éric Biagi and Andrea Inzerillo, who invited them to discuss a simple question: what is independence in cinema? The conversation, filmed by Valentina Pellitteri and Jean Elia, was then published in two parts in issues 640 and 641-2 of the magazine Filmcritica, edited by Edoardo Bruno, between December 2013 and January 2014.
