In July 2019, Sammi Cheng launched the concert #FOLLOWMi, her first live tour in three years and tenth ever at the Hong Kong Coliseum. The diva finished 13 shows in less than a month. Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) is a genetic disorder that causes noncancerous tumors to grow in different parts of the body. However, the Hong Kong government has been slow to allow treatment for the disease, especially in relaxing regulations for drugs that treat the tumors. Director Wong Siu-pong turns his camera on Hong Kong’s medical system with this heartrending documentary about a young TSC patient who also lost her mother to the disease.

Mr. Lee, a senior social worker, has been fed up with all sorts of social problems that cannot be resolved. He wants to resign after passing his expertise to the new comer, Candy. However, because of lack of manpower, he is asked to handle multiple special cases before he leaves, including mildly retarded Ha, Po with Down syndrome, schizophrenic Ming, Chung with serious autism and Keung with hyperactivity disorder. While Lee and Candy engage themselves in handling those difficult cases, Mrs. Lee, who has been suffering from serious mood disorder, commits suicide. Heavily blown, Lee abandons himself and decides to give up all cases. Two preachers from the church and two radio anchors are also involved indirectly into the resolving process. They have different levels of devotion and expectation on those cases. They hope to help those people in trouble to build up new understanding on the front-line social workers as well as on themselves.

Call girl Ruby dates men for pay. Arrested, she seeks help from a lawyer client. He advises her to seek letters of mitigation from people with high social status, and to play along with the probation officer. By performing an act of penitence, Ruby may be given a more lenient sentence. She springs from his heart and walks by his side through many hardships. Both Chi Yu and Ling Fung will have to overcome the prejudice of others to find happiness in themselves.

To the group of homeless people living under a bridge in Sham Shui Po, daily life involves coping with strange stares cast by passersby and dodging the frequent raids by the government. Fortunately, a group of volunteers led by a local pastor show them there are still some who care and are willing to lend a helping hand.

The music documentary “L.O.V.E. in F.R.A.M.E.S.” is directed by Cheung Kit Bong, one of the backing vocalists of DUO band. It captures the behind-the-scenes of the “DUO Eason Chan Concert” between 2010 and 2012 and the making of the album “L.O.V.E.” in England, Guangzhou and Hong Kong over six years. The two-year “DUO Eason Chan Concert” is a tour of 66 concerts. During the tour, all members of the DUO band turned from strangers to friends, they have even become indispensable partners of each other. This two-hour documentary is all about capturing and sharing the loving memories of the DUO band with the audience.

Largely told through Qiu’s own words, we are shown a young woman’s longing not just for another’s love but for herself. In the face of a society’s suppression of sapphism, she writes and lives furiously.

The film begins and ends in a shopping centre in Hong Kong. We carefully observe the smooth movement of the escalators, the constant flow of people that never stops, the musical fountain that presides over the centre of the internal courtyard, as if this gigantic complex could concentrate the circulation of the entire city, or even, the entire country. From there, it will be more a tale about concrete, enormous port warehouses, glazed galleries built for the 2010 universal exhibition, overpopulated tower blocks, the fragments of still recent colonialism...

The Hong Kong police have been accused of mishandling Yuen Long's attack on 21 July. Stephen Lo Wai-Chung, the Commissioner of Police, explained that the "delay" was due to insufficient manpower as the force was busy dealing with a protest in Hong Kong Island, as well as 3 cases of fight and 1 case of fire in the Yuen Long district. Hong Kong Connection's reporters have collected CCTV footage dated 21 July form different cameras along Fung Yau Street North, Yuen Long, and interviewed relevant persons, to reconstruct the attack's timeline and take a closer look at the police's arrangement during Yuen Long's "nightmare".

In 1989, there were rumors saying money became joss papers when a delivery guy returned to his restaurant after delivering food order to Room 4E of Sau Lai Building which was to be disassembled. Such rumors horrified restaurant staff members nearby as they all afraid that they would receive call from the ghost someday. Shui, who was a staff member from Chiu Fat Restaurant, however, manipulated people’s superstition, claiming that he received order from the ghost. He stole all the money after delivering food orders while replacing the money with joss papers. His boss and colleagues were shocked as they had never thought that their restaurant was chosen and cursed! Shui found that his trick succeed and thus decided to cheat money using the same tactics again and again...

This story of the cheongsam takes us from Shanghai to Hong Kong and Toronto, reflecting the history of the Chinese diaspora and the decline of traditional tailoring.

LAM was demanded by the authorities to retrieve his computer in the bookstore in Hong Kong, alongside with the information of his customers. Only when he found out that his colleague handed over to him the wrong computer, should he start to think about possibilities besides submitting to authorities from Mainland China. The film re-enacts the events happened in the two days he was allowed to return to Hong Kong and explores LAM’s decision to defy, and refuse to leave his homeland.

After 45 years he plays on, still inspired by the beauty of the music and by the culture that produced it. And In 2010 he was the only non-Chinese among 14 masters the Zhejiang Museum had invited to play in a concert featuring guqins from the Tang dynasty over 1000 years ago. With an indepth interest and insight in both Western and Chinese classical music, John Thompson and his musical journey is an embodiment of East-West cultural exchanges and mutual appreciation.
