The Black Fox (黑狐狸) is a 1962 Hong Kong thriller film directed by Yan Jun. The film was produced under the Shaw Brothers banner in the Mandarin language.

Here Lo Lieh plays a dedicated chief constable for Tsang Chou village, who falls in love with the blind daughter of a bandit who is wreaking havoc.

Diary of a Lady-Killer is a murder mystery mixed with erotica. Each time a local playboy has an affair, the lady shows up dead, making him the prime suspect.

In order to wait for her lover Fan Chun-tak to finish his study in Australia, Tang Sau-man works as a governess in Chui Shek-wah's house. Chui is Fan's brother-in-law. Chui spoils his wife Fan Kam-ping. She becomes lazy and dependent on Tang. Fan finishes his study and returns. He decides to transform his elder sister. He asks her best friend, Pang Shui-ha, to persuade her. Pang has a crush on Fan. Pang uses this opportunity to get intimate with Fan. Tang originally thinks that after Fan comes back, she no longer has to live in somebody's shelter. But Fan spends all his time with Pang. Tang is unhappy and drinks to vent her unhappiness. Tang gets drunk and Chui takes care of her. However, Ping thinks that they have dubious relationship and throws Tang out. Tang falls down a slope and loses one leg. Fan is angry with himself and decides to marry Tang. Ping also realises that she is wrong. She decides to change her lazy character and takes care of the disabled Tang.

After the Ming Emperor is overthrown and his infant son put in the care of the Black Dragon Society, a traitorous martial arts clan attacks the society and forces two inexperienced swordsmen to flee with the infant and begin a dangerous journey in search of allies.

The star crossed romance of Yu LiYing, an office worker at the local bottling plant, and Weiming (Kelly Lai Chen), an independently wealthy young man who likes Bonsai, has TB, and is likely to die in a few years. They meet when she is swimming with coworkers and sees him standing on a cliff above. She goes to him fearing he is going to commit suicide, then feels embarassed by the mistake. Paul (Zhang Chong) is a businessman who gets caught up in an international espionage plot when he accidentally switches briefcases with a friend aboard a Singapore-bound plane. The friend turns up dead, and Paul discovers a small Golden Buddha inside the briefcase that contains a set of instructions. The instructions are only one of three parts, the other two being held in similar Golden Buddhas by Lo Wei (doing double duty as actor and director) and Lin Cui. When combined, the three Buddhas will lead the bearers to a buried treasure. But the nefarious Skeleton Gang is after the Buddhas, along with a buxom femme fatale (Fannie Fan) who isn't above showing a little skin to get her way. Luckily, Paul knows kung-fu, so the bad guys had better watch out!

Before director Lo Wei helped to discover Bruce Lee and the king of kung-fu comedy Jackie Chan, in Madam Slender Plum, Lo perpetuates the career of yet another Shaw's non-action, femme fatale starlet; the sleek and sexy, puppy-eyed Eurasian Jenny Hu. It's a melodrama with a touch of murder-mystery in the vein of an old Alfred Hitchcock movie where Diana Chang plays the mother with Jenny playing her oldest daughter.

Ting Cheuk-ting (Lee Hang), the accountant of a trading company, tries to borrow money from his employer, but in vain. The following day, the company finds that $30,000 has been stolen, and the missing money is recovered at Ting’s home. Ting’s daughter, Suk-wai (Connie Chan), takes the fall for her father. She admits to the theft and is given a one-year bind-over order, which infuriates Ting to the point of death. Suk-wai has to carry the burden of providing for her family, but constantly runs into walls due to her criminal record. She eventually disguises herself as a man to work as a typist at her father’s old trading company. The boss’s daughter, Mona Lui (Helena Law Lan), exposes her and calls the police upon discovering her secret. Suk-wai is left unable to defend herself.

When the two re-meet, Lee is attracted to Chow’s stepsister. Some years later, Chow is now a cop and vows to smash Lee’s gang. After a struggle with his conscience, Lee agrees to help.

Chivalrous swordsman Jun-zhao goes in search of a fugitive named Li Yueh in order to reunite him with his love, Liu Xian. Though the two men meet and become loyal brothers, Li does not reveal his true identity until Jun-zhao's life is endangered by swordsmen from Flying Fish Island who are looking for revenge.

Prince Demin of the Ocean Kingdom and Princess Zhang Yabao of the Baoling Kingdom were childhood sweethearts. After Demin abdicated the throne to his elder brother Fengyun, Fengyun's marriage proposal to Baobao was rejected, leading him to wage war. Red Lamp Shaded in Blood is a decent Martial World film of the type that Chu Yuan made famous for Shaw Brothers. These are often based on the works of Jin Yong and Ku Long. Red Lamp features all the requisite tropes of the genre: various sects of the Martial World, an evil sect scheming to rule the Martial World, an outcast orphan sent on a quest, mystically acquired Martial Arts, a mysterious hermit, a mysterious killer and , of course, star crossed lovers.

Li Zhishan is a rich man, but wealth cannot keep the loyalties of his wife, who has been visiting the bed of a rival. She helps plot against him, and the Vicious Long Brothers invade his home and steal the Golden Dragon Blade - a sword that makes its wielder unbeatable. Zhishan, crippled in the attack, and his young daughter are whisked away by a devoted servant, and the trio soon find shelter in the home of an herbalist. Years pass, the daughter grows up to be a lovely young woman and a powerful fighter, and the Long Brothers use the Golden Dragon Blade to gain power in the region. Zhishan's family of sorts has managed to stay well hidden, but a trip into the city - the daughter's first - sets off an old power struggle as Zhishan's wife discovers her daughter is quite alive.

A powerful flute becomes the focus of all the fighters in the martial world, much blood is shed as they battle and scheme to get their hands on it.

With her elegant classic persona, Li Li-hua was the ideal performer for period aristocratic and imperial roles. The Goddess Of Mercy is a good example of her strong empathy and noble presence. The youngest daughter of a brutal king, the princess openly disapproves of the floggings and cruel treatment her royal family heaps on the peasants. As a result, the heartless king turns on his own daughter forcing her into exile.

In the mid-sixties Chang Cheh changed the face of female dominated films with his male dominated, violent kung-fu films. Dead End was the start of a new force that lasted 6 years, the first film to star David Chiang and Ti Lung under director Chang's discerning eye. The trouble all begins when Chen Hung-lieh's character disapproves of Ti Lung's character courting his sister.
